Good luck Charlie,we grabbed friday also, what the hell. Going to take a run sat. morn down to Cape May,Mrs. loves to poke around in the shops there. I hate the smell of po-pouri or however you spell that, but it keeps us away from the VP Bar for a few hours.

jerseyguy: Good luck this weekend and try not to be overpowered by the potpourri :peace:

For this Saturday, I checked prices on TR for Harrah's and they were way too high ($237). I didn't check Friday as I have a dinner to go to. I looked at my Borgata deals and I booked Saturday Jan 3rd for free

JG, if you are a member of the VFW, check out the Cape May post, maybe half a mile from the Washington Street shopping area.

Hey Hammie,I'm gonna save my drinking for when I get back to Harrahs,we plan to make a stop at Borgata on the way back from Cape May because Mrs. JG has some free play there.
My usual Cape May routine is to wander around aimlessly while Mrs. looks in shops, occasionally sitting on a bench with my 'please shoot me" look.. Sound familiar to any of you married guys?
Thinking of going over to Angelos friday night, easy drive from Harrahs or take the free shuttle to Caesars and walk thru the Mall area.

Thanks jerseyguy. I just booked. Had the choice of Harrahs or Ballys.

I made the res for Ballys. My wife likes the Cheeseburger deluxe games, and I like the $5 tables. I know 'class' wise it's a step down, but it's all about the gaming. If we stop in to play a little Miss. Stud (ballys doesnt carry it) I'll keep an eye out.

Just in case, maybe have a Sprite at the Ugly Mug on the Washington St. Mall in Cape May, the Army-Navy game is Saturday. Go Navy! For Friday, Harry's Oyster bar at Bally's has Buck a Shuck Monday-Friday, 4:00-6:00 pm plus some drink specials. http://www.harrysoysterbar.com/specialevents.php

    Good Luck!

Had a nice weekend, met a bunch of people at the VP bars, took a ride down to Cape May saturday hung out ,did some shopping. Took the scenic route back to AC thru Stone Harbor ,Avalon,Sea Isle and Ocean City. VP was ok,Mrs. had a few quads to keep us afloat. Had dinner at Angelos sat. night ,food was ok,house wine and bread always great.
Mrs. missed her calling, should have been a health inspector or a drill sergeant. Kept saying how Harrahs could use a thorough cleaning.
Got to see Franco, bartender at the XBar who we havent seen for a while. Still loves the ladies.
