    My Trip Report

Flight leaves in 4 hours. Thank you Frontier Airlines for awesome deal and good flight times and direct flights. Wife and I round trip $348 total. Add $3 for assigned seating and $15 for each checked bag. Still less than $400 total for 2 people. Southwest used to be my go to for deals out of Cleveland, but now Frontier is trying to make a move in Cleveland .

As I reflect on all of my trips to Vegas, I am thankful that I was blessed with a good job and loving wife. In my attempt to stay at many different casino hotels, we have the famous Circus Circus next. We have done everything from Bellagio, Venetian, Cosmopolitan on the high end to everything on the low end and in between. I have stayed at properties like Stardust and Sahara before implosions or make overs. I'm not picky, just give me a decent bed and a clean room.

When I was working at UPS hustling packages this time of year was a bit#@. We were never able to take vacation from Thanksgiving to Christmas. Now that I am retired I am going to Vegas at a time of year I could only dream about when I was working. Hopefully I can continue with good health and keep making trips to Vegas until I ride off into the sunset like Andsen and Gregrio.

My bankroll for this trip is $2000. It's more than I normally take, but I'm hoping for a little more risk to obtain a higher reward. It's Christmas season and I think Santa is going to be good to me. :peace:

When I was younger I hustled packages for Fedex. Still have 401k with them and it has really grown over the last 28 years! Congrats on the retirement, good for you and have fun. Enjoy!

I worked for UPS in College and Retail so during the holidays was always tough on getting days off. I use to make the trip to CES in Vegas every January but have stopped.

Enjoy the trip and have fun. Hopefully win some big jackpots.

    Jim,
This sounds like one of those trips where a person is more relaxed than normal. Plus, great time of the year to be in Vegas. With the positive attitude you have going in to this, you should be able to appreciate Circus-Circus.
We did CC a couple times and it wasn't as bad as anticipated. Let us know what your take is, as this place gets rapped by folks all the time.

Only one 4OAK on VP. None for Kathy. Calling it quits for today. I'm down $65 and Kathy is down $70. Room isn't all that bad. I've stayed in worse.

Plan for today is to use free plays from ACG and MRB. Up $15 so far. Plan to nickel dime losses back.
