Mb: 12/5-12/7

I am not much of a TR writer, but I will do my best. Staying at MB this trip, as my wife and her sister are going to watch the Heart concert on Sat.

Pretty easy driving the whole way!

Currently in VIP lounge at MB getting my room sorted. Had an x3 reserved, but somehow it is showing that I called in to cancel it, which I did not. They are sorting it out now...update to follow.

Finally in the room! We got our x3 (1 king and 2 queens)...whew! This room is a hike...very end of the hallway! This is my first time in MB...last trip was Delano. Room seems a bit dated and not as spacious as other 2br suites at other MGM properties, but still pretty nice to have when bringing kids.

Bell service was extremely quick...seemed like 5 minutes from time of call to knock on door!

 

I noticed a new carny game at MB...6 Card Poker. Going to check out what the Wiz has to say about this game before I give it a shot later tonight!

 

WAAAAYYY back in the 90's when I first was legally allowed to gamble, we joked that with 3 card poker evolving into 4 card poker that eventually it would become 52 card poker. Give it few more generations and we're there! Good luck tonight...

Wife sent me down to the lounge to stock up on water and sodas...

Of course I had to get some gambling in...but what can I play real fast without it seeming like I gambled when I was supposed to just get drinks? Slots of course! I went straight to HL slots. Played six $25 slots (WoF, TD, and DD)...$100 each. -$600 in under 5 minutes...lol.

 

I tried 6 Card Poker a few weeks ago at MB. I didn't like like it as much as 3 Card and Crazy 4. I'll be interested to hear what you think about it.

 

Kids washed up and in bed now....YES! Heading down for some UTH very soon!

Won $825 on first hand of UTH...full house...solo table. Then bunch of guys sat down...just lost my first 2k marker...on number 2 now.

 

Ugh, great start but that seems to be how it goes. I like playing alone then the flow gets thrown off when the others sit down. It can turn just as fast back to the positive though!

 

4 markers in now

 

Win the markers back, tear them up, and flush them down the toilet to marker hell.

 

Change of scenery...time for Geezers!

 

Six card poker has been at one of my locals for a couple of years now and it is still pretty popular. Weird how that works.

Calling it a night...down 12k...could not book a winning session at anything. Well good news is, there is always tomorrow! This is a similar start to my last Aria trip, so hopefully it will end like it...me making a big comeback to cut the losses.
