When should I expect an offer from Four Queens for Feb?

I was wondering the same thing. I just extended my upcoming trip 2 nights, and was thinking about staying at the Four Queens. I was going to call and see what I had for offers, but if the mailing is rolling in any day now, I'll wait!

    Is this one for Jan/Feb?

I got a tournament offer for 1/16-1/18 which I booked (not sure we are going because airfare is high that weekend). I must have tossed the postcard with the free play amount or I don't have it yet. The tournament includes three free nights and breakfast on two mornings.

Mine came yesterday. 3 nights and $200 free play. Just for reference purposes, last trip I only played 2 days and added a total of around 1700 pts. It still surprises me that the offers are this strong. $200 monthly free play in exchange for $7k per day playing nothing but 10/7 double bonus which is already positive expectation.

Well, I play that 10/7DB about as much as I did on former trips, yet my offer Jan-Feb this week was cut to BOGO and my freeplay cut in half to $40. I won't go until October/November, so perhaps things will change by then. It does not affect the final costs much because the Comp dollars build up so quickly, and they can be used for my weekend rooms.
However, I did not like the loud music behind the casino on certain weekends, so I may limit my stay to just one visit of two days this next trip and focus my bankroll on those two days.
I'm really looking for new places. I may be content to pay for cheap rooms and gamble less. I seem to do well with the triple play nickels at the Orleans, and they get me 2 free weekdays. Then if MyVegas still is functional, I'll cover one weekend with Monte Carlo and Mandalay Bay.
Plaza was interesting me, but not if 10/7 offers no comps. Palace Station interests me because I can play full pay in dimes and feel comfortable all day in my bankroll and have good limit poker games right there as well. Arizona Charlie's interests me as it gets me cheaply out Boulder where Sam's Deuces nickels and Eastside Cannery full play quarters would satisfy my gambling needs, as would Skyline.
It may be more cost efficient to just pay for my rooms and gamble at low levels for less time when losing.
But I have always gotten mailings for 3 nights. October was the last of those. November was 2 nights and I used comp dollars for the third. And now I'm in BOGO land, but I still can use that on weekends.
Perhaps the slot tournament mailings will continue. Those usually put me in the North tower and away from facing that back block of noise and they offered three nights plus the tournament and some food. That may end of being the best Four Queens offer now.
As far as I can figure the reduction in mailed offers seems a bit jarring, but the final result using the comp dollars and my usual play would come to about the same or perhaps a bit more for weekends.
Weekdays the D still gives me a good BOGO for much less play than I give the Four Queens.
Well, it could all change again before I get to go.

That's a strong teaser, but even with consistent play at the same level during a stay, the 4Q room comp will cause a drop in future offers. In the future, I would expect the traditional 4Q offer of 2-3 comped nights and $40 FSP with that level of play if you utilize the offer.

Dewey can explain further, but 4Q has recently trimmed back what used to be a rocksteady monthly FSP/ Room Comp mailer with an often psychedelic color scheme!

I don't use the room offers there as I dislike the 4Q rooms, but I like the Binions and 4Q FSP offers, as they allow me to casino hop during the downtown portion of my stay.

I've been at the $200 FP level for over a year. I would love to know what the actual level is to generate this offer. Iu was at the $80 level for about 5 year before the upgrade and I don't think my play changed. I always put at least 500 points per day and have gone up to 1000 a couple of times.

MSS has cut my offers significantly and I'm not sure why. They still give me free nights but my slot play went from $75 to $0 and my food from silver card to $0. Despite the $0 food offer, they still comped everything I wanted on my recent stay. Very strange.

If you are receiving offers including $200 in FSP and you've had days at or about 500 points, consider yourself very fortunate. Have any of your days of play included comped room nights at 4Q? If so, you are maximizing your "Assault on Comps". Max would be proud.

I always use the free nights when I play there. I don't usually stop right at 500 points. My norm is closer to 800 and I have done 1200 a few times. I am obsessive about avoiding short play days. Learned my lesson at main street in that regard. Collecting cash back on check out day counts as a play day even if you don't play at all. Very harmful in comp world.

I don't know how you are still getting that level of FSP, (especially on 10/7 DB) as they expect that for a room comp, but kudos! Usually the initial teaser offers decline to their usual $40 and sometimes $80 FSP offers at that level.

Yeah, mines about the same as my last one with more play. BOGO at $26/night($1 more a night). And, $40 in freeplay. The D gave me 3 free nights with me just emailing them. So, I'll be staying there, and just using the FP at 4Queens in March I think. Unless they give me a better deal.

Never got any offer from Four Q nor from any Boyd casinos. Don't know why.

You might try calling them up, and make sure they have your address right. But, if the host you talk to is the same one I have, they'll probably just give you the normal casino rate per night deal, then adjust it with any other offers you get.

Guess that's what gets me with 4Queens. It seams like the hosts don't know what offers are being mailed out. Or won't even offer you anything better than the casino rate. At least that's how it's been for me the past couple of times I've stayed.

We got our offers this week. I will never figure these people out. I got 3 nights, $300 free play, and $50 food credit. Mrs. Flusher got 3 nights, $200 free play. Last two times it was she that got $300, and I got $200.

So how do you view the $300 offer? Is it a step down from the old offer which included $150 Hugo's up front, plus Magnolia's/Chicago Brewing Co. and room service? It seems so at first blush.

But when you think that comps are all based on a percentage of your play, it's not so bad. I'd probably generate $360 in comp dollars on that three night stay. Now I can see the amount of comps I had earned, before I couldn't. Still, there is one issue... the comps on the offers were earned on trips I already took. So, whatever I earned on the last trip on the old offer.... is gone. I'll never get credit for it.

Because up front we had trips where we played heavily before we had those offers and got bupkis for it on that particular trip.

I think this is going to work for us long term though, because we don't care to actually stay in the hotel anymore, and we can focus our earned comp dollars on the restaurants. We'll get to use every last dollar we earn, in the way we choose to use them.

Right now we have a buffer of $550 in our comp accounts, so at some point, we are going to be eating a lot of Hugo's, or paying for a room for a couple of weeks for niece Lamondo and her husband Clevedge out of them

All of the Plaza VP earns points and comps. See this thread.

My 4 Queens offers also have gone to BOGO and half the usual freeplay.

Planning on playing at the 4Q on Jan 9th. No previous play.looking to generate offers for a March 18-19th stay which is a Wednesday and Thursday night. Do you think with this short turnaround time that I can get into the system for a mailer offer? Also what type of play at Blackjack would get their attention? Also same with VP how much coin in would I need to run thru?

Don't know about blackjack, but $3K or 4K a day on VP will get you room offers. I doubt you will get a mailer in time for March. If you do some decent coin-in, go see the hosts (little office at the side of the lobby) and let them know you are coming back. They should be able to take care of you if you are playing enough in January.
