I get the idea on the players cards when you are playing table games, but do you present it to make sports bets too?

    Not a dumb question

    just a dumb thread title.

You'll get better responses with something descriptive.

As far as your question, you get no comps for sports bets.

CET properties have signs up to present your players card when making bets at the sports/race book. I don't know what it does for you.

Westgate, formerly known as LVH and home of the Mother of all Sports Books gives $1 comp on players card for every $220 bet. Most poker rooms give $1 comp per hour logged at the table.

Lesson learned the hard way at the Flamingo in October when I lost my winning ticket on the BYU over. If you present your rewards card when you place your bet, it can be tracked that way and you can get it cashed.

If you give them your card, I'd think it would be added to your win/loss statement for taxes.
