Curious which steakhouse at an MGM/MLife property you would suggest? I've only eaten at Jean Georges at Aria. Got some express comps to burn through and want to take a couple friends. Thanks in advance.

I have to say that I think Prime has really started to rest on its laurels, sadly. It's a beautiful dining room, with good service and an incredible view, but my past few meals there have been mediocre at best. I think Jean Georges is a much better steakhouse, but you don't get the fountains right outside the window. If I wanted a good steak meal, I'm going to pick JG....if I want ambiance, then I'd go to Prime.

Stripsteak, would be a good place to go with friends too because it's not stuffy at all. Very modern.

Prime, Craftsteak or strip steak. Haven't tried jean George's at aria yet but heard decent things.

I've eaten at most of the south strip MGM/Mlife steakhouses more than once. My preferences would be in order.

Tender (Luxor). Great, quieter ambiance. Never a bad dish or experience. Great steaks. Best overall menu (in terms of variety). Pricey.

Craftsteak (MGM). Louder and more upbeat steakhouse. Very good steaks. Wide array of meal options. Pricey.

Brand (MC). Falls into the middle category of ambiance. It opens into the casino. Steaks are very good. Limited menu. Cheaper steakhouse prices.

Stripsteak (MB). I've had my best steak (ever). Worst steak (ever). For an expensive restaurant, you can decide if you want to risk it. Loud and upbeat restaurant.

Gallaghers (NYNY). Just an average steakhouse. The service is great but the steaks are average.

Yes, there are about 800 steakhouses in LV and one Le Cirque. For what you pay for the steakhouses you may as well go to Le Cirque :)

Now this is a question I can sink my teeth in.

I will always put Craftsteak at the top.

With that said, I have enjoyed all of them for one reason or another. I have been enjoying Stack at Mirage the last couple trips. Love the Adult tater tots. While it is not your traditional steakhouse, Shibuya at MGM Grand had a great kobe and other options for the ladies that don't want steak.

I will stop there but I could go on.

Of the MGM properties I like the steaks best at Craftsteak ....but I have enjoyed the environment at Brand looking out into the casino.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinners at Jean Georges, Craftsteak and Prime. You cannot go wrong dining at any of them but my personal top pick is Jean Georges.

lots of good suggestions. We did leCirq and were not that impressed. Great at Prime.

But... there are LOTS of good choices. Some just charge more because they can.

As to which one... I would start with - where are you staying? Some locations might rise more to the top if you can WALK there, vs taking a cab for a place that is pretty much the same as the one you are walking right past.
