I'm looking for a place to send my cousin, who is one of those $100 a day limit gamblers.

When he's at the craps tables, he bets one pass line bet and doesn't take odds. He also places the 6 or 8.

Playing 3x odds could run his daily limit out quickly, so I was looking for a lower minimum table to send him to.

    TIA

I'm not even sure I reach $100 a day. Regular $5 is fine. I didn't see anything lower except maybe at Slots A Fun.

So, let me ask, how many numbers do you play?

I typically play 3 numbers (pass line and 2 come bets, 3x odds) That's $60 on the table at a time.

yeah, I was going to say...even just doing pass line with single odds ($10 total action), which is mind-numbingly boring, you'd run out of that $100 pretty fast on a $5 table (trust me, I've done this MAAANY times)

You could try Fremont, which always has a $3 table open...
Or waay off-strip, Sams Town will have a $3 table quite a bit.
On the south end of Boulder Highway, is Jokers Wild, with a $1 crap table, open only limited hours...

I don't think $2 craps is available. I beileve you can still find $3 craps in Henderson. These casinos are located at the southern end of Boulder Hwy and in downtown Henderson (Water Street). You can search out 'gaming' on the Las Vegas Advisor site and probably locate who has $3 games going. You'll need a car. Of course, what you'll save in food costs and gaming costs will more than cover the cost of the car. Most newbies don't realize this.
One gambling point. If you play the 6 and 8 at less than $6 you're giving the house a huge edge on your bet. $6 pays $7 but anything less just pays even. That difference is getting a free bet the 6th time a 6 or 8 roll. That's significant.

You could always have him play the electronic bubble craps game.

Confirmed that Fremont has ONE $3 craps table most of the time. The El Cortez also supposedly has a $3 craps table but the last time I was there they were all $5 tables.

As bjpcyclone mentioned the electronic bubble craps games you can play lower bets.

Too bad, the Western (now closed) was one of the only places with low level craps tables ($2).

Casino Royale only has their one table at $3 during certain times, it's sometimes at $5. Ellis Island has $3 craps 5-7pm for happy hour.

Jokers Wild has raised their limits somewhat but it's still an awesome place to play craps. The drink service is great as long as you're not a cheap bastard and don't tip more than a quarter. Seems like allot of locals don't tip much. When you actually tip the servers right they bring you top shelf drinks. The cocktail waitress would bring me top shelf tequila by the shot and a Heineken. Since they aren't allowed to serve you more than one drink at a time she would give me the shot glass I would then slam, put it back on her tray and then give me my Heineken. I got so hammered I had pass and don't pass bets up at the same time. When I asked the dealer "is that my bet?" she said yes. Holy Cow Batman WTF but I had a blast until they threw me out.
    Great place to play!!!!
I woke up in a Suite at the Rio and have no idea to this day how I got there.

This is outside of vegas, but it seems like locals casinos elsewhere have bad tippers. Once I tip I get drinks flowing quickly

Vegas ain't that big dude. You can rent a car for like $20 bucks a day (AAA special) and explore the REAL VEGAS! The Strip is for tourists and idiots INMHO. If you want to savor the flavor of the real Las Vegas you gotta go down to Henderson or the north side. Places like the East Side Cannery, The Joker, Sam's Town, The El Dorado, Rainbow Club, Arizona Charlie's, Skyline, just to name a few. North Vegas and the Boulder Highway have better gambling and odds.

There are a few places that will pay $3.50 for a $3 place bet on 6 and 8, I confirm this before betting. You would see if the dealer has either $.50 chips, or silver half dollars. on my last trip El Cortez did.

5$ tables are fine. This is my low roller craps method. Set number take 1x odds. Place 6$ on the 6 and 8. As I hit inside numbers move out to the 5/9 then 4/10 at this point you are on all numbers and if the roll continues you are going to make a mint. If it turns into a real hot roll and I got my original 20 back, i press the 6/8 1 unit then take up to 3xodds on the line.

One last thing. Set the dice in the 3v with a 6 or 8 visible on the sides. I do it and most of the successful rollers do it. Against random rollers I play the don't.
