    Hey guys,

Headed out mid Jan not my first trip, but usually just just play whatever hits me at the time..

going out with 4 other guys (1 first timer). Staying at PH... anyone have any suggestions of places to look for being able to maybe get a fun game that are lower limits? (around $10 a hand I would say to start)

We arent looking to make a killing, just a table we can spend a few hours at, get drinks kind of quick, and have a blast.

    thanks!

Honestly, casino royale is always lively with good limits. The drink service is generally always good and fast, and if not, the mich lights are always a $1.

$10 limits shouldn't be too hard to find on the strip...its when you want $5 limits that gets tough...

Pai Gow at Margaritaville! The place isn't that big, so there's almost always a CW around. Pai Gow, if you've never played, is a very social game. $10 min at Margaritaville. Nice thing about Pai Gow is you tend to push a lot, so your money lasts longer.

Craps at Margaritaville - $5 in the morning, $10 later in the day - great drink service and friendly dealers. Always a good time there.

$10 Pai gow is not all that hard to find at Flamingo. Ballys had $5 Crazy 4 poker on Sun Morning.

If you are looking for lower limits though head downtown.

My group plays a lot of team BJ and we'll be doing so in 2 days! Our standard port of call for the exact thing you're looking for us Ellis Island. From Bally's back door, it is about a 7 minute walk.

Great food (BBQ, Pizza, Subs or Old School Diner), Micro Brew Beer for $2 , and BJ for $5 @ 3/2 for the BJ. A fun little place favoured by the locals.

No brainer! Just tip the Santa of Koval, as you go by. Very good Karma.

Planet Hollywood has a bunch of $5 or $10 Carny games that I saw earier this month. It's a pretty fun place to play and the CW service was very good while I was there...4 drinks within the hour! Good luck!

I have a tradition on all my vegas trips i go play those tables and i always get slaughtered...this trip i played for 4 hours (from 10pm to 2am), had a blast (fun players, great dealers), and made some money too. :drunk:

Is there a Pai Gow table in the Margaritaville area? I must have missed it. I usually go early morning and the tables aren't open in that area so I may have overloooked it.

    What is your bankroll?
A $5-$10 craps table can easily get out of hand and eat through a bankroll quickly.
Even if disciplined and play one number it may get a bit boring, but if you have the bankroll Craps will be the most fun since you have 4 others.

Also if your group sticks together and takes over a BJ table to yourselves that would also be very fun.
A good way to gamble, drink and have a good time.

I was only in there early one day, and Pai Gow didn't start until after 10 or 11am. That was a Sunday.

I've often seen $5 craps tables at PH during weekday mornings. You can usually find $10 craps tables there as well....other than weekend nights. Bally's will have lower limit tables too.

A place that not many talk about is the recently remodeled Oshea. My last 2 visits in August and March I found $5.00 craps , leprechauns pouring drinks and a loud party atmosphere! I'll definitely be stopping through there during my March, madness visit!
