Good Evening all. This is my first time on the boards. I'm looking forward to meeting some new people. My husband and I are planning a trip to LV in March. Haven't been there for a number of years. Anxious to go back this time. Last time we were there I couldn't really enjoy myself due to being so overweight. Not anymore!! I'm sure things have changed so much in the last 10 years. Can't wait for March to get here.

Coming from Michigan. Considering staying at NYNY this time. Have stayed at Harrah's and Monte Carlo. Ready for something different.

We're about 2 hours north of Detroit. Are the rooms at NYNY decent? We're thinking of the Madison Tower. We want a decent room, but only going to sleep in it. Not sure how important the view is. We considered staying at MGM, but think it may be to big a property to get around in.

NYNY is fine, MGM and Caesars Palace are huge to walk around in, just to get outside

Don't listen to Frank67. We are not all degenerates here! I will give you 3:2 I don't have a gambling problem!

I just booked my two week trip in March to: March 1-14 staying at Aria. Congratulations on dropping the weight, I bet you feel fabulous!

March can be pretty warm in Las Vegas, hope it is this time for all of us.

Welcome to the board, be as active as you can and enjoy life!

Oh, I also agree the wifi at Monte Carlo sucks. I set up a hotspot on my iPhone and use that.

Be careful about NYNY. If you get the wrong room the roller coaster will keep you up. Last two times I stayed there I could hear it all through the building. I have to get up at 430 am every day when out there for business so it's usually early bedtime for me.

Thanks for making me feel welcome. A few years ago I was on a message board for Vegas and really loved it.. Not sure why I quit using it We can't wait until March and we can go. Piggylane, are you a Nascar fan and going out for the race? The last trip we made, my husband went to the race and I stayed at the casino. Couldn't walk well enough to go.

Think NYNY will be fine, but will continue to check things out.
