Bally's Jubilee premium rooms

I'd like to know your thoughts about those rooms, and also about the hotel itself

 

Ballys or Paris is our "home" in LV. Both have a low-key vibe with great customer service. We had one of the new Jubilee rooms (with a view of the Paris pool and the fountains) in March and loved it. The new bathrooms are lovely, the bedding is high end and comfy and the location can't be beat.

I would confirm, that the rooms in Jubilee Tower are great. Couple of items though. Not sure when you plan to visit, but shops construction is not done yet, so your still subject to construction noise for the next 30 days.
If you have never stayed at Ballys and are cigarette smoke adverse, the casino can be rough, especially on a busy weekend when the smokers pour in and the air circulation system can't keep up in the casino. Personally I avoid the casino
during these times otherwise I end up with burning throat syndrome next day.

The elevators can be a little slow when the tower gets busy. I think they have two banks of 3 elevators split between floors. Coming back after dinner the wait was a little long on Fri / Saturday.
Dining options are a little limited at Ballys, They have a great taco joint, Sushi place, and the food court is redone. But don't look for any high end dinning options there.

All and all Ballys is a solid mid tier property

 

I really like the Jubilee rooms, as sybgal mentioned, the rooms are very nice, and the views from what I have had in the past are awesome! Also, the location of the jubilee rooms are really nice, you come down and there is a small convenience kiosk that sells sundries, snack items, coffee and sweets in the morning, and right next to Knosh, a great little deli.

I have never experienced the "smoke" problem that funkhoser mentions.

 

What's the difference from the Indigo and Jubilee bathrooms?

 

Jubilee got shower retro fits in the basic rooms. EG no bath tub. Indigo still has the standard tubs in basic rooms. They have held up well since the Indigo (North) had a higher end remodel done back in the day with
plenty of marble / granite. The old Jubilee (South) tower room baths were nasty. Way better since the remodel.

We stayed in a Jubilee Premium room in April 2014 and it was not disappointing. It wasn't my favourite room, but it was nice. We had a great view of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, but their nightclub kept us up when we were in the room earlier. The room was decorated nicely and the bathroom had a nice shower, but no tub.

Was it very noisy Jeep Girl? How late it kept you up? Are there other rooms where the noise is less of a problem?

 

I agree with Jeep Girl. The bass from the nightclub is very noisy. It goes to about 5AM on the weekends. Most of the noise comes from the outdoor rooftop part of Chateau.
I am not sure, but I would think that the outdoor part of the club maybe closed for the winter. But the rooms are very nice.

 

We have stayed at Ballys more than anywhere else. Why? Great location, huge rooms in generally very good shape & generally comped. I really like the Jubilee rooms---BUT be sure to ask for a north facing room if Chateau outdoor nightclub is open. In July it was too loud to sleep well with a few cocktails, earplugs & a pillow over my head!! Had north facing rooms in June with no problem.
I don't dine much at Ballys but it has a couple of "higher" end spots--BLT Steak & Sea (Thai). Plus Paris is close--but as I said the central location means I have lots of options close by.

 

I've stayed at Bally's a few times and always liked the rooms, though the ones I have stayed at were regular rooms, not premium. I had the good fortune of getting one room (can't think of the room number now) that had a fantastic view of the Eiffel Tower next door at Paris and their swimming pool.

The hotel is also quite central to everything and the rates very reasonable. Plus I always had a great relationship with people at the front desk (talk nice to them, they'll be nice to you). There was also a period for about a year where I kept getting emails comping me to rooms even though I barely played the slots there (I'm not a whale...more like a minnow).

 

Safe is in the drawer

Refrigerator is in the 'dresser' behind one of the doors or 'drawer covered' sets.

Just returned from Ballys this past weekend. Had a room at end of hallway (long walk). Very nice with a view as others have stated. The three elevators that service the upper
floors (62) the center one never opened. Yes, the noise from Paris nightclub is loud. We mentioned something to this effect at check in and they actually gave us some ear plugs.
So they know that it is loud. Didn't bother us too much. This trip a mid 30s person was with us and he thought it was more like dance music. Soothing. Go figure.
