Last Thursday on the elevator to her room, my daughter was talking to a nice man who was pleasant and talkative. Then it dawned on her that she knew the voice so she asked, "Are you James Woods?". To which he replied yes I am. He was there playing poker.

met him many times, very nice guy. Shows up at a lot of poker tournaments and is always very cordial. He used to always have a bodyguard around as he is so recognizable, but now normally just see him alone.

One thing though, if you see him at a black jack table or in the middle of a big hand, don't just walk up to him and interrupt him asking for an autograph. Wait until you see him away from the table and he will be more than happy to sign for you.

played poker with him a few times at Foxwoods. I agree with other posters; always nice and will answer questions when he's not in a hand. This guy always has a hot twenty-something girlfriend .. young twenties.

Nice -I saw him around the BJ tables at Gold Coast a few years ago.
My first thought was " Hey ?....is that James Woods ?"
He thought he got black balled because of the ugly character he played in "Onion Fields"
He was such a GREAT bad guy in that movie......one of his first.

Played in the junkies poker open with him at the Borg. Have also played with him at the Commerce in LA. Seems like an ok guy but he's always very quick to remind you how smart he is. MIT grad, high IQ. The guys also HATES younger poker players. Hoodie/sunglasses always seems to get him fired up. Its funny to watch though.

I was seated to his left at the tourney so we chatted for a while. He moved back east to look after his older mother.

Now, there's one celeb I would like to meet. Doubt he gets into too many 2/4 and 3/6 limit games, though. Thanks for posting.
