    My Trip Report

Hey guys.. it's been a while since I've been back - End of March was my last time.

I wanted to try a new place so I figure let's give Bellagio a try. Thank you to VMB board member for giving me a referral.
I just asked for two Resort Rooms, limo pick up and drop off to the airport & limo access for all days there to and from the Convention Center. (Much better than waiting in taxi line)

My friend (A) and I left SJC at 10:05am on Wednesday on SW arrived at 11:30 - with the limo driver being about 25 minutes late.
Sort of frustrating, but I figured since it's convention week, it'll be an alright excuse.

We shortly arrived at Bellagio only to find out the invited guest line is longer and slower than a normal line, but since we were already in line, we didn't feel like moving.
The front desk lady saw the note on my account for connecting king bed rooms and said "yes I see it", but it took her about 15-20 mins to give us rooms that weren't connecting and after going up to the rooms, one of them ended up being a double queen. Just great. Mind you, I'm already late to my 1pm meeting - I called the host instead of waiting for the front desk as they put me on hold, the host apologized and reassured me everything will be taken cared of quickly and to remain in my room until someone will call my cell to give me my two new connecting king bed rooms. I waited about 30 mins, still no call, I figure that was odd.. so I called the host again, he said oh it'll be about 3 hours as the room was just checked out and the room service is put on urgent for me. But really.. 3 hours wait? No, I can't wait so I just leave my bags in the room and get take the house limo to the convention center to return at 6pm to change rooms.. the bad of the trip stops here for a while..

I have been attending SEMA Wed-Fri for the past 3 years for business purposes and gambling time. 100,000 people here for a convention sure made the strip busy at night.

Here's a snap shot of SEMA.

    Wednesday

We had meetings/lunch for about 3 hours, so we ended up at SEMA from 2-5pm on the first day, not too shabby...

We ended up having a quick dinner at Earl's Sandwiches at PH because we were in a hurry to meet a few friends.

Time to head back to the B to get freshen up for the night.. but before that, the night started off with winning $1000 or so at blackjack since the Baccarat tables weren't open on the main floor. I like the $50 minimum as I typically start off at $75 to $100 and like the peace of mind I can go down to $50 if it's a bad streak. BUT I realized I typically go down to $50 once per shoe..

Since I've never been to the Cromwell, I figure what better excuse to go than to attend one of my manufacturer's hosted parties, this photo was inside Cromwell/Drai's
The hotel is beautiful, very nice colors and felt fresh.

VIP wristband made the walk inside easy. Although it was a pretty crappy party as the ratio was pretty off and I left early, I made another $500 or so at the Baccarat table outside of Drai's in 20 mins - flat betting $50-100, Looks like I'll be staying there soon.

Called it a night around 7 am.. sun is coming up..

Thursday morning at 9 am started off well also.
I started off at $200 and 10 minutes later left up $1800. Time to get ready to head to the convention center again.

Waking up every morning like this was pleasant, knowing I don't have to deal with taxi drivers..

Typical day at SEMA.. one of the cute girls at the booth I visited.. Look at the guy in the back... haha.

Around 11pm, we again took the house limo.. only to go to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino to pick up my friend's friends and to go to Spearmint Rhino.
HRH is definitely not my scene, I prefer house music rather than rock and roll, but their suite I went to was pretty nice, great to host 8-10 people... Sorry no photos haha.
This night was my first time at Rhino and our group of about 8 people ended up having bottles service and somehow I was in the private room for 2.5 hours with the same chick & talked her into breakfast and back to my hotel room lol.
Once again, sorry no photos since I was pretty much lost my phone for the night lol.

Friday morning/afternoon, I woke up around 1pm.. and decided no SEMA today as they were closing up soon and we had finished all the meetings already.

We originally wanted to take the limo to Lotus of Siam for lunch, but when we got there at 2:31pm, they were closed at 2:30. Just great.. left with the thoughts of where to eat, I decided, let's just go to the Wynn.

We ended up not liking anything at Wynn, so I looked at the map and saw Wazuzu
Wazuzu at Encore, loved my beef curry - medium spicy.

Just my luck, since we were planning on going to Lotus for lunch, I felt it was OK to wear a t-shirt and basketball shorts, definitely felt pretty awkward walking through Wynn/Encore under dressed and sitting down at the Baccarat table, where I quickly lost $2900 in about 15 mins. Lunch ended up being pretty pricey at Wynncore hahaha. But Wynncore is beautiful, definitely want to stay there also in the future trips.

We went back to the B to get ready for Dinner at NOBU at HRH. Awesome dishes, awesome service. The sever really knew how to sell the dish (we didn't order off the menu, but rather just let them pick a few dishes for our group of 8)
    First Dish. Toro Carpaccio.

Forgot exact name, but it's short rib in a taco fried shell.

    Black Cod on salad.

Shrimp Tempura something with some sauce and dressing and salad.

    Australian Wagyu Beef with truffle.

Dessert: Sour Cream Ice Cream with fresh peaches, so damn good..

After dinner we went back up to the suite to pick up a few more people and headed out to Cosmo for some fun..

Went to the The Chandelier and Bond Bar at Cosmo.

The Bond Bar was awesome, great music, great bass, great people..

It was in the wee hours of the morning already and I stumbled my way to PH to play Baccarat with a few people..
At PH from 3-4am, the music, pit bosses and general atmosphere was fun and lively! Sadly 4-5 am, people looked dead hahaha.
My playing spreads for the first 2 hours was $100-300, the shoe was choppy, 50/50 at the end of the first and second shoe.

It wasn't until shortly after the next shoe, a guy was playing $500-1000 hands, I said f*** it, I got 2 hours left before I'll probably pass out on the table, why not, let's start playing bigger. I started betting $800-1000 per hand. Mind you, I don't typically go past $600 per hand, I was determined to win! Weird feeling I just felt it this morning..

In the end, I walked away up $6k from Planet Hollywood..
I'm one happy camper! Basically that win made the trip free after all expenses were paid and still had a few K to take home!

Went back to the B around 6 am and slept til 10 to catch my flight to make it home and rest up Saturday and Sunday.

Overall, the trip was fun and relaxing, glad I made it to Vegas again after not going for 7 months.

See you next month Las Vegas!

Nice trip! I've never had any luck with talking a Rhino girl back to the suite, so I've just given up on that route. Kudos on that score, and the gambling wins!

Care to give any details on the spearmint rhino and the girl? What did she look like? And what did it take to get her to your hotel? I always wanted to do that.

I think it's harder to talk a SR girl into NOT coming back to your suite. They are always anxious to pick up some side business.
