My wife and I (in our 50's) will be returning in a couple of weeks and would like to see a show in a smaller venue. A couple of years ago we saw Taylor Hicks at Bally's and would like to see another show of this size. We'll be staying at the Vdara and would prefer to see something within staggering distance, but not essential as we can also cab it elsewhere. Really doesn't matter what type of show. Just need a break from CDS shows for awhile. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks.

Vegas the Show at Planet Hollywood is small but perfectly formed! Great fun, just don't expect any of the singers to look anything like the artists they are singing the songs of! Also, Veronic Voices at Ballys is a fantastic female vocalist impressionist or further afield if you are into classic rock, Raiding the Rock Vault at the Tropicana!

I'd recommend Carrot Top if you like comedy. It's a smaller venue, so there's not a bad seat in the house. However, the VIP tickets are definitely worth the extra money.

I assume from your screen name that you might like the Rat Pack stuff? I loved "The Rat Pack is Back" show at the Rio. Not staggering distance, but a nice, small venue, table service during the show, although some people had trouble hearing the waitresses. The golden circle seats seem worth the extra money. I had a lot of fun and enjoyed checking out the Rio too. Going there was a vacation from my vacation!

I can recommend Hitzville at PH. They run a ton of shows out of that theater so you may want to look into everything running at the V Theater as it's really intimate.
