I was surprised on a recent trip to hear wynn doesn't comp spa unless you lose 50k. Has anybody heard this before?

Also what does everybody think theo is on 3050 a hand for 12hrs38minutes almost exclusively 6 deck blackjack heads up?

Over how many days? That is very good action and you should be comped. Did you have a lot of room charges to where they could not comp the spa? I have never heard of a resort/casino not being able to comp spa services but maybe you had too much in room charges already.

They don't comp happy endings [emoji110]. Seriously, I have no idea, but I would guess your theo would be high 20k to low 30k. Try giving a host a call and see if they can give you your theo. They may be sticking their nose up to you, since your won.

So it sounds like it's BS. I have a host. He emailed me and said they don't comp spa or a bunch of other things I thought they would comp unless you lose 50k. I get the feeling that is total BS - I've never had to pay for spa in a casino, and I definitely had comps left over.

My reason for posting this is that if that is a lie and it's not a rule at the Wynn other people have heard of, I'm never playing another dollar there again... btw this would be the first winning trip there out of 4 so far...

Last fall, I had spa services for both my sister and I comped and it was a winning trip. So if this is the policy its probably newish.

Wynn is very stingy with comps.

also, many hosts make it their own personal policy to screw you on comps if you win.

so they refuse to give you hard/hard-ish comps like AF or spa unless you lose even if you have the theo.

not a chance. BJ doesn't do much theo esp if they have you tagged as a player.

I'm guessing 12-14k on that play.

    The way MGM rates blackjack play, your theo is 3050 x .0075 x 70 x 12.5 = $20,015.

I don't know Wynn's exact formula but it is similar. If they think you are a skilled player or "don't like your style of play" the theoretical loss will be lower and/or the host will feel entitled to tell you no to certain things.

The spa at Aria is quite nice as is Qua at CP. I would mention that in your next email to the Wynn host.

that .75 HA number is the average player number.

it's .50 if they have you marked as a skilled player.

This floors me, how petty....Shame on you Wynn!

Just out of curiousity, how much are we talking in SPA charges here?

the wheel gives tons of theo.

probably looking at a 2-5k theo just from that, depending.

Truly unbelievable they wouldn't pick that up when playing 3000/hand--they may be trying to send you a message that they don't like your play for some reason.

Yea, they should have comped that. The SPA there is inhouse, right?

I know most will not comp the retail side, or the tip.

i know retail/tip is out of the question under almost all circumstances, but some of the other stuff they said they won't comp without a 50k loss was pretty astounding to me. what i responded to host is "so if i generate 30k in theo, have 5k in comps left over after all other comps, and lose 40k, and have $1000 in spa charges, no comp?"

They may have just saved themselves $500 and some back room accountant is high-fiveing his boss.

Meanwhile, the casino take will go down when you move along to another casino. And they will not know why. Silly people.
