Apologies if these have already been addressed. Recently made Diamond on my last trip (unfortunately involving a 5 fig loss) and was just curious about the following:

    1. How long does the status last for, I made it last month and in my account it says it expires in March 2015?
    2. How do I redeem my $100 Celebration Dinner, they told me it takes a few weeks to go in the system and I couldn't use it that trip.
    3. How long does it take for my offers to reflect my most recent trip? I looked at booking another trip and seems like it's still all the old offers, assume it takes a couple months?

    Thanks in advance.

    1. You will have diamond status for all of the following calander year, and through the end of march of the year after that. So, as an example if you earn diamond in 2014, you will be diamond for all of 2015, and through March 31, 2016

    2. To redeem the celebration dinner, simply go to the total rewards booth in the casino you want to redeem/use the dinner. They will load the information on your total rewards card and you simply use that when you pay. They will also give you a list of places you can use it.

    3. My experience is that CET does things in quarters, so offers usually don't change until the next quarter. Having said that, your offers will not suddenly change just because of your diamond status. Offers are determined on your recent gambling. Other than the diamond benefits, the free rooms, free play etc will not automatically increase. I know of some gold and platinum members who actually receive better offers than diamond if they have recently gambled heavy.

Yes, current cards go to next March. Just how they do it, even though your status is for another year. You could actually be Diamond for 2 years and 3 months if you made Diamond on Jan 1, 2014.

And yes, offers are based on play, not your level. Diamond does get various perks as mentioned.

LOL, I just thought of that statement...and you're right! HAHA
You could go earn 5000 TC on 1/1/2015 and you'd have Diamond for ALL of 2015, ALL of 2016, and IN to March of 2017!

Thanks for the information, I'm aware that offers won't change simply based on hitting Diamond and are specific to ADT, but good to know that it will be a few months before it's reflected. Thanks again.

I'm not sure answer # 2 is correct, at least it's not in my experience. The 2 times we've used it the total rewards desk prints out a voucher for the restaurant you choose and you take that to the restaurant. Be careful not to lose it as it is like cash and won't be replaced.

Both times I've used the $100 celebration dinner I've gone to Total Rewards and they've printed out a voucher that could be used at any of the valid restaurants. It never specified the one I chose. I got mine far in advance and had it for whenever I chose to use it. But yes, don't lose the voucher because they cannot print another one for you.

In respect to the celebration dinner, can you use it anytime once you reach Diamond? I made Diamond for the first time in September, but some of the threads state you won't get the dinner until the following year as it's based on the previous years tier level achieved. I'm heading back in December. Can I anticipate using it then, or will that only become available to me in 2015?
    Thanks~

You have to use the benefit by March 31, 2015. It is available to you now. You need to pick up a voucher for the dinner at a total rewards desk. They can also give you a list of restaurants where then voucher can be used. Don't lose the voucher, it won't be replaced.

I think we are asking the same question in different threads (with the slight cavat that I made 7 stars this year)....from what I understand, once you reach Diamond (or 7 stars) you have your celebration dinner available to you once your new status is available to you. Then since you really earned your status for the next year, when April 2015 rolls around you will have another "celebration dinner" available to you as well!

At least that is my take on it!

I bet that's the case for you, at 7 stars.....each aspiration level you reached in the process may have earned you a reward, then at year closing your final status may get you one for the final year in total?
I'm pretty sure the low diamond is only going to get me one dinner....so I don't want to miss it by letting it expire!

I think total rewards is really missing out on an opportunity having really vague info on their website. If they would list where the celebration diners could be chosen from, other perks you know about but aren't listed on site etc, I think it would be more valuable to players and they would be more inclined to chase tiers if they knew more benefits for doing it!

For me there really is no difference between the Diamond-level at 15,000 points vs. Diamond-level at 40,000 points. I typically reach 40,000 points on my last night of my last trip of the calendar year, and I take a break from Vegas until April or May of the following year. Although the tier-level status is good through the following year and into the first quarter of the year after that, the aspiration-level perk is only good until the first quarter of the coming year. The only thing I see that I get is two free tickets to High-Roller.

Diamond and Seven Stars work a bit differently. Once you make Diamond in 2014, you have until March 31, 2015 to use the $100 celebration dinner.
If you make Seven Stars for the first time in 2014, you have until March 31, 2015 to use the $500 celebration dinner. You will also get another $500 celebration dinner to use April 1, 2015- March 31, 2015............regardless if you earn 150k tier credits in 2015.
