Hello, are there any strip hotels that are *not* on hotwire? Assuming these would be the newest, nicest hotels with the best location. Or does supply and demand vary so widely that even the best hotels on the strip occasionally post to hotwire?

Seems to me like Trump is always the winner for four star on priceline and hotwire....on the strip!

As for Hotwire, I'm pretty sure that Trump is listed as a 5-star and is confined to the "North Strip" neighborhood. The way to tell the difference between Trump and Wynncore/Palazzo/Venetian is that Trump is always shown without the amenity of "Casino". Booking a 5-star, North Strip with the amenity of "Casino" will result in receiving a hotel other than Trump.

As for the OP's question, I'm unsure that any of the major Strip hotels avoid using Hotwire all together, but some are more rare than others. Bellagio comes to mind as one that is rarely awarded on Hotwire, though it occasionally turns up.

You should check with Betterbidding.com for the list of strip hotels that have been reported. Recently, I have been using Priceline express deals more, it is sort of like Hotwire in that the amenities are stated upfront. Hotwire seems to exaggerate the star ratings of its properties by .5 to a full star.

Based on the list at betterbidding.com, they are all possible. I don't use Hotwire for Vegas and a lot of posts from people who do use it are generally about shooting for a five star. Betterbidding.com is the best to see what people are winning. And I think Priceline is as bad as any site on overstating stars. They have the Linq at 4 stars!
