When you have freeplay, do you play their money first
    or yout money first? Why?

Before. If I get lucky, I never have to touch my own bankroll.

Before. Feels good to get some spins in before digging into the wallet. Also helps set the tone as to whether I should start off slow or aggressive with my own bankroll.

I always played it later...simply because, they never had a "redemption period" during the same time they had a "point multiplier" (So I'd go to play, and get 3x points, but have to wait until the next day to download my freeplay)
I always used my freeplay as a loss rebate.
Doing the same thing soon with Harrahs...

I always forget I have freeplay so I play it whenever I remember to. I never get more then $50 in FP though.

Not really before or after, but at different games. I'll use my bankroll for VP but I'll use freeplay (my paltry $10 or $20) for $1 slots where I expect to either lose it quick or win something quick.

I generally save it for the last night/day of the trip. Just hoping to turn it into a last minute, leaving town type of win!

I never really get more than $50 free play, but I once won $150 in Venetian free slot tourney a while back on a wheel of fortune promo. I usually play it whenever but I almost always use to play games I never or rarely play. For example maybe I will run it through a $5 slot, if I win big great if I get small wins I just cash out and add it to my bankroll.

On my upcoming trip which is only my second time I have $235 in free play to use. No idea what to do with it.

Torn between $1 and $5 slots or max bet our favourite penny slot and see what happens.

It's the first money I play with on one of my favourit machines. If the machine gives me absolutely nothing with the FP I'll try a different machine afterwards. If I win a good amount of money I use that to play either the same machine at the same denomination or move to a machine with a higher demonation in an effort to hit an even bigger win. Most of the time I end up winning nothing to little on FP.

I try to remember to use it first. I don't want to forget about it.

I try to play it first off and bet max. Just in case I hit something big and can coast the rest of the trip. Hasn't happened yet. Next time for sure!

Always play FP on our last night but I've had some experiences where the machines don't accept FP at certain hours (usually after 1 am and the slot attendants always claim that the system is updating) and so we end up having to play it the following morning so as not to lose it. Worked out though - morning play delivered a hand pay...

    Use it early, because

    - I might forget I had it
    - It might get lost
    - If I have trouble using it (some system issue), it gives me time to get it fixed
    - with luck, I can avoid that walk of shame to the ATM a bit longer
