Anyone been to the CSI Experience at the MGM? Likes or dislikes?

I went last year. I bought 3 tickets from BlackJackLady off the message board. The price of the tickets was a super deal. It was just something different to try for us. It was good, if you get a good deal on tickets. It would probably be more fun if you had a larger group. There was only the two of us in our group. My daughter-in-law and friends went earlier this year. They had 5 people in their group, they really liked it. Like I said our tickets were very cheap, I wouldn't recommend it at full price. But if you get a good deal on tickets, go for it. If you don't have tickets already check out e-bay for some good deals.

I went about 4 years ago. If it's the same as it was back then, it was boring. None of us really liked it.

Got the tickets at half price ticket booth.

Its OK, a decent way to kill an hour if you have some discount tickets. Its more like a learning experience disguised as fun... you view a potential crime scene, make your notes, then go into the various labs (which are computer stations) to learn about DNA, fingerprinting, etc., etc.

You won't walk out saying "Wow! Where has this been all my life!?!?!" But you won't walk out feeling gypped (unless you buy full-priced tickets).

I did it last May...it was a bore. Maybe I would have liked it more if I watched the show?

I rarely hear rave reviews about it. They've had the same thing here in God's Country at Mall of America for a while now. I saw it, although I didn't pay for a ticket and do the whole interactive mystery. It's a cute concept, but even at the lower rate the mall is charging vs. the MGM rate, I wouldn't pay for it, or recommend it to anyone else. Perhaps if you're a huge fan of the show this is more entertaining. I've never watched the show, in any incarnation, so it's just an interactive exhibit, and not that spectacular of one.
