Any experience with Hetz? Renting a car next Friday, some reviews online are not the greatest.

Do they have express counter or kiosks to use? Or is it everybody wait in the same line to get your rental?

Below is what i found on Hertz website site if you do online check in or a hertz gold member.

After completing Online Check-in, what do I do upon arrival?
When you arrive, go straight to the Hertz Express counter or Self-Service Express kiosk*, where you’ll take care of final details

Hertz is among the top tier of car rental companies.

Most of the car rental places have express rental available, but you do have to become a "member".

Yep... there's a reason they're Number #1. It's been a few years since I've rented from Hertz in Vegas (our company switched to National), but your experience will be incredibly quick and painless. I always feel bad for the Budget, Advantage, Dollar, etc. folks who stand in ridiculously long lines after getting off of long flights and then can expect long lines at many of the major hotel/casino properties. It would really suck the life out of me to start a visit like that. Good for you for doing thing on line and your homework on this.

Do you have a Gold membership? If so, you just skip the lines and go up the escalator to their lot. You will notice a screen with your name that will indicate the parking spot of the car that was given to you. You have the option of keeping that car or choosing another car in that aisle. If you want something more "fancy" then you can try to negotiate an upgrade fee with the attendant. I almost always rent from Hertz in Vegas and never had an issue. I usually book a mid-size and get an upgrade to a new Maxima.
