Couldn't really find anything about this in the "search", so perhaps someone can give me the scoop about how convenient the monorail service is to the SLS? We've taken the monorail down to the old Sahara ages ago and it seemed rather convoluted getting to/from the monorail station in to the casino proper. Just wondering with all the money they spent if SLS has streamlined that route at all? Thanks.

i took the monorail to SLS. if you thought getting to the Sahara was convoluted, you ain't seen nothing.
    piss poor signage at best.
a long walk down the platform to a long escalator to the parking lot to the back door.

It's true... access is the same as it was with the Sahara. Though the train doesn't drop you off at the casino bar, it's not exactly like crossing the desert either.

LOL, I guess they figure anyone "cheap" enough to take the monorail needs to be snuck in through the back alley! :wink2: Was strongly considering paying them a visit...now, not so sure...

I don't get all the hassle?

Getting into SLS from the monorail was 100 times easier than say, getting into MGM from the monorail.
I found it to be a snap. And I was half lit!

You people must be getting old. :blah:

yup, we were there last weekend, monorail to SLS is easy...straight walkway down to escalator down to to hotel/casino floor.
    Same setup as Harrahs/Quad station.
    Wished monorail went more places!

Add me to the confused group. I felt the walk from the monorail platform to the SLS is the shortest of all the monorail stops.

So...since opinions vary, I guess I'll have to find out for myself...

I stayed at the SLS and used the Monorail all the time.

Westgate (former Hilton) still has the least amount of walking but SLS is a close 2nd. It's VERY close to the hotel towers. Every other stop is a big hike (MGM is the worst!).
