    Introduction:
My name is Stefania,I'm writing you from Italy and my english isn't good at all, I'm sorry.

I'm platinum Mlife member, I used to come in vegas twice in a year ( 15-20 day in August and 7_10 days for New Year Eve.
I ever stayed at Aria and I Always had room comp for both the trips.
Now I was looking to change just to try something new, but I love Aria so much.
I asked to the Others Mlife resort and I received an interesting offer for my next trip from MB.
The offer is: suite comp for every days of the trip+ 1200$ resort free+650$ freeplay.
So I've to choose: room comp at Aria or the offer from MB?
Please help me...what would you choose?
Do you think I could receive some interesting offer also from Encore ( or other resort) also if I hadn't play there in past years just because I'm a good player in Aria?
    Could you help me please?
Is possible to meet some of you in December?
    It would be so nice.
Ty for this Amazing forum, you make Vegas closer also now that I'm so far.

    Welcome Stefania,

Here's what I would do... I would try to arrange a shorter stay at MB and split between MB and Aria. You love Aria and you come so far, so you don't want to leave it behind, right?

So do 4 or 5 days at MB, and then your last 4 or 5 days at Aria.

It is worth contacting a host at Wynn to see if they would do something similar for you, obviously you have a decent amount of play to get solid offers like those.

Good luck, and let us know what you decide!

    Ciao Stefania,

If Aria is only comping you the room I would stay at MB. You don't need to concentrate your all your play at MB. Give them half each. You got some nice comps from MB and you should take advantage of it.

I was in a similar dilema and ended up booking MB. Their hotel is gorgeous and their casino is amazing. however, it is a little off the strip.

I will still play at Mirage, Aria and Bellagio

I will be staying at MB during the new year. It would be nice to get together and play some $$$ together.

I'm Italian too ;o) Well it is my 3rd language but my parents immigrated to Canada after they got married.

    Buona fortuna !!!

Okay, I will ask... Are you single? Married? Boyfriend? Girlfriend? I ask only because im sick. LOL Just kidding. I ask because if with a significant other I would try to stay at the Wynn or Aria. That being said.... If I were you I would check in to MB get the free play stay a night or 2 (Don't tell them you are planning on doing that)and then go check in to Aria and stay there for the remaining nights. Much nicer, better food, closer to everything, great ambience, better craps rules and the VIP New Years party is spectacular! (Been there the last couple years) Your play counts for both properties anyway. My home away from home is Wynn but im staying at the Aria for New Years due to the party. I will also have a room at Wynn just because. Aria is my pick for you! Also, I just stayed at MB 2 weeks ago and didn't like it. I was on the 61st floor in a 2 bdrm suite and it shouldn't get any better right? Well, it was run down smelled and just felt old and outdated. Room service if that's what they want to call it was a 2 on the scale of 1-10. Aria's room service and overall food experience is a solid 9. Wynn 9.8..

For me Aria is a bit nicer and the location is much better than Bay. Yet with the offer it would be difficult to turn down the offer at Mandalay Bay. I like Royal Flusher's idea of splitting your trip up, my cause MB to reduce the perks yet would give you the option of trying before committing.

I would go with MB and if you do not like location/room/whatever, I am sure you can contact Wynn Host or Aria and get moved there. If you do like MB you got a hell of a deal.

    Dear Royal flusher,
you wrote. "It is worth contacting a host at Wynn to see if they would do something similar for you, obviously you have a decent amount of play to get solid offers like thoseom" but how could I contact a host from Italy? and How could he/she knows how much I play?
Your advice is very good, I'm going to write to my Aria's host Tom Mageros and I'm telling him about MB and asking him if it's possible to split the trip... I'm worried just to do something that could be rude .

    Hi Letsdoit!
If I need any help to find the right words in english I would ask you...last summer at cash game table in Aria I had a true Canadian stalker at the table.. I never thought that something similar could happen in Vegas in a poker table..This terrible man started to repeat continuosly that he would bring me with him in Canada.. "well" I sayd to me " just pretend not to speak english at all and let's try to ignore him.".. But that weird man called at the phone one of his friend who spoke italian and make him translate what he would tell him.. He said to his friend " you know I'm having fun with this women tonight, you should see her boobs" and then he asked him to translate that I'm very nice ,that he's a very good man and that I can trust him...He also showed me the pictures of his home with pool in Canada telling me that I would have anything with him....After almost an hour ( I tried to be sit out often) he went to the restroom and the table ( all the table ) stopped to play..they were worried and sad for me and they don't know how to help me ( because they thought that I didn't understand what that man was telling me) ... I made them know that I was fine, just not " confortable" in that situation..so the dealer decided to solve the problem , she called the flloorman and they make the man go away from the table, because he was a real stalker....ahahahah
I'm sure that you are a good Canadian and that I was terribly unlucky, but it's a good story ... I met some rude men, many drunk men but never never one stalker... it would be nice to meet you and I'm sure you would change my first idea on Canadian man in Vegas!!!

I would lean towards MB. Suite vs room as far as I can tell above.
MB has many great places to eat.
    Lots to see and do.
Easy to walk to other resorts via indoor walkways (most of the way)
Giving you more freeplay and food comps.

Second choice would be to split up the play.

I would also consider calling Bellagio and see what they would offer.

As to Wynn.. you might get something, but remember... they do not have your play history like the MGM properties have.

Hi back, Yes we will meet up... Boyfriend and all! Don't know Tom. Sure ask Tom for 4 invites for the party. Even if you only need 2. No harm in asking. If you are really nice I just might have extra invites for you both if you cant get in. No promises though. But as I said before, keep it separate and book one or 2 nights at MB then book a separate reservation at Aria. That's what I would do. I would do that with 2 separate host as they only take care of there own property.

Yes they can check your play elsewhere and will bring you in. Maybe not for New Years. If you handle it the right way and speak the language they like hearing then im sure you can get in even for New Years. Maybe room comp, maybe not and comp at the end. Big question, what is your avg bet, how many hours a day will you play and how much are you willing to lose?

ha ha ha Stephania. Just read your response. I'm a good Candian boy and I will be travelling with my wife and son. Let me know if you will be staying at MB and we can have lunch together with my famiglia. My wife is also Italian from Campobasso. My parents are from Potenza, Basalicata.

I speak fluently but my writing is not that good. What part of Italy are you from?

I would have taken the MB suite with the comps

    Here's my take on this:

    Pro's
    Suite
    Comp dollars

    Cons
    Location

Aria isn't actually the center of the strip, but MB is way far away. If you're driving, it wouldn't be an issue.

    1) Would you really make use of a suite? (I'm assuming so, but had to ask)
2)Let Aria (gently) know that you're getting a better offer from MB, and see what they can do to match. For NYE it might be tough, but you are apparently a "big platinum vs. a small platinum (like me)"

With regard to Wynn/Encore, I have comp privileges there, but never use them because although the hotel is wonderful, the casino is very tight (I'm a slot player) and my money goes a little longer elsewhere.

    Just my .02

Steffania, over the Labor Day weekend last month, I stayed at Aria for a day and then the next day at Mandalay Bay (and Planet Hollywood the day after that). It was my first trip to all of the places and I fell in love with Aria immediately. I hated leaving it and was afraid that Mdalay Bay would be a let down after that. It was. And it started from the moment of having to enter the key card into the door slot, instead of flashing it over the circle on the Aria door. Then entering the room and the blinds didnt open automatically (having to open them manually). It was just such a letdown after having been at Aria and I swore then all future trips would be to Aria.
