Just got an offer in yesterday's email for 2 nights free. I booked for one of my brothers but I am anxious to check out the "new, better" paytables and will report back. Booked for this Sun & Mon.

You gotta wonder about this place. I got an email offer for 2 comp nights plus some freeplay back in July, and since then I have not had a single email from them about anything... not even promotional garbage (which I used to get). Shrug!

I haven't got many mailers lately either. They must have spent a ton of dough putting out the fliers.

I've seen some promos and room specials lately. Looks like they'll go the way of the "Lady Luck"!
Can't wait. Used to be an easy place to get a High Roller suite for average play. It's off the beaten path. MSS is too but they have better gambling IMHO.

Email mailers are free... It just seems like they don't want to be successful. Honestly, they have a database of people who signed up for their players card and they haven't even bothered to say, hey.. come for thanksgiving 20% off (at the very least). Consider this, they felt I gambled enough there to warrent comp rooms in July, but haven't bothered to send even random promotional emails to me since.. that's just bad business. The marketing director (if they have one) needs to get a clue.

There is no comparison between Main Street Station and DG. MSS draws people in, multiple ways. They're also almost always booked up for every weekend, for a reason. I get non-stop emails from them, even mailers sometimes (and I'm in Canada). The gambling is better, the food options are a stellar value (and the beer is great!). Nothing draws me to the DG. Nothing at all.

Maybe they lost part of their database or something? We stayed there in May on a comp offer based on very little previous play. We stayed four nights and played there quite a bit. Haven't heard "boo" from them since. I was wondering if it was something I said at a gaming table, though I'm pretty polite.

Guess , we will never figure out comps and mailers. I get constant emails and promo's in the mail fom DTG. Wife who only does free play and maybe $40 extra has gotten free rooms and $100 play when she shows plane tickets. I get those also. Hers finally quit. I get any rooms I want as often as I want. I am a $25 min BJ player and some video poker on the side.

Most trips I give MSS a few hours of $25 BJ play and frequent Fremont even more. I NEVER get anything from either of them. Never have in the last 10 years that I recall. Definately never got free room offers. Yet, after some play at Sam's Town and some at Orleans I get free 2 nights offers from them. I haven't given Orleans near the play as MSS and Fremont. Guess we just take what is sent and quit trying to figure them out.

I contacted a host trying to get a match offer. She kindly offered to comp my room but couldn't match the free play so I passed. Interesting part of this to me is that she was very quick to offer the comp for a Saturday check in which doesn't say much for the occupancy rate. The other thing that I don't really understand is the refusal of a free play match. They can easily make it contingent on play. Something like, play through $8k coin in and come to the host office to have your $200 free play added. If I have the offer from somewhere else in hand, shouldn't they try to attract that level of play?

They have been hit and miss with me and no correlation with amount of gambling.
