Have two free nights at either hotel for our stay in December. We have never stayed at either property. We have stayed at Caesars, Bellagio, Aria and many CET properties across the street. Which has nicer rooms and which has a better chance for an upgrade on 12/14-16? Any other insights and suggestions would be helpful. Thanks ski
The rodeo will have wrapped up on the 13th beginning the slowest time in Vegas. I would think you will have a great chance of an upgrade. I like the variety that MB offers but if you enjoy venturing out, Mirage's location is bette .
I have never stayed at either. But that said there is something about the Mirage that I have always liked and I never seem have to won there.. Plus I love the mid strip much more so than the south strip.
I like Mirage casino as i win there when im on the casino floor, however for hotel preference i think it would have to be Mandalay Bay
I really love the MB casino but its not THAT much better than Mirage's. I like Mirage's food options better, and the location beats it 5/1. So Mirage would be an easy choice for me.
If it's only two nights, the location of Mandalay may not be an issue. You could stay down on the south Strip. On a longer trip, definitely Mirage. Although with the pool closed in December, you have to find more to do during the days.
Looks like Mirage is out. Only 1 free night and Love is dark when I would be staying. Booking the 2 nights at MB, I hope to catch the Australian Bee Gees show and Cirque "One" if I can get any discounts. We like video poker, Black Jack and low limit craps. Where are my best bets? (probably not MB) Any chance of an upgrade 12/14-16 with comped rooms from MyVegas? Thanks for all the replies. Being December, we can walk and take trams to midstrip! ski
We stayed at MB in May. Tipped and got upgraded to thehotel. Love the place. They have $5 craps at Excalibur (close to mb). Did pretty well and they seem to pour free drinks pretty strong.
My wife and I were wandering around MB in June. I love the feel of the casino. For a big, fancy strip hotel, the VP options aren't that bad. We played for a while on the 50-play 25c 9/5 JoB (98.45%) machines in front of House of Blues. I'm pretty sure we were able to play only one line. http://www.vpfree2.com/casino/mandalay-bay-hotel-casino Then we wandered through the Mandalay Place shops to Luxor (a much less thrilling casino) where they had $5 3:2 blackjack tables. So that's an option.
