What the heck is a $42 hello? - Well I scored a late in the game, round trip ticket from MSP to LAS for $42 and now I am saying HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!

I will be in town to support a friend who has 4 Jeep builds in the SEMA show.

I joined the board to try and read up on deals, events, free stuff, general info, etc.

    Thanks!

Sounds like a Spirit flight! I've snagged those $19 one-ways before.

    Great deal!

    Spirit!

    Thanks!

You are correct. $4.51 each way/ $9.02 round trip the other $30+ was in fees and taxes.

Did you know that Spirit charges a "passenger usage fee" for booking online? I saved $38 by walking into the airport I drive by everyday.

I had been watching the fare for almost 2 months now. Its been fluctuating around the $160 mark but last night it was about $80. I checked again this morning still $80. Left for work, walked in, bought my ticket. The counter clerk couldn't believe it. She called a manger over because she thought it was wrong.

    16 days and counting!

Spirit definitely has some good deals.

Did you pre-pay for check bags or carry-ons?

Great score on the tickets. That would almost be worth driving the 180 miles to MSP for.

That's a great deal for tx, yup. Sounds like you know how to avoid the additional charges that Spirit has, for just about everything, too. :)
