I read under the Royal Rewards club page on Mark's Las Vegas site that Plaza is doing tier matching, wondering if this is for all members or just new players club members?
The distinction would be important to my decision to play there as the cashback option is important, will put some play in there if they match TR Diamond card, but probably won't if I have to work my way up to an upper tier level.

Are you already a plaza club member? I know they will match your tr card as I know someone that did that but you have to be a new sign up. Or try smiling at the booth attendant and see if they match you anyways.

We can tier match at anytime. However, we can only do it once during your lifetime.

I am Emerald at Boyd, what would that match to?

The higher tiers mention Transportation - would that be a limo to and from the airport, or would it be like a limo at the player's disposal anytime they might need something say from Walgreen's or maybe a run down to Whole Foods to get some healthy snacks like some organic chips or something, or maybe some good Que from Rollin' Smoke?

Not that I would ever misuse a limo in that way.

    Damn! That sounds pretty attractive!

Did they get upset when you took the limo to Walgreen's for snacks? ;)

Honestly we weren't even staying there at the time. I just walked over from MSS and did the match. Then i walked around trying to find a decent VP table and couldn't, so I have not been back in 8 months. I am going to give the "improved" paytables a look-see this trip.

I'm guessing TR Diamond would match to King? I'm going to be visiting downtown in a few weeks. Might drop in. Dumb question but is the transportation a limo or something like a towncar?

Hi. Yes you would tier match to a Plaza Ace player. Keep in mind: you can only tier match once and if you do not maintain that tier level of points through out the year come Jan 1st you will be placed in your appropriate tier as per your tier points. So, if you tier match now, you must reach 100,000 tier points by Jan 1 to remain an Ace player for 2015. As for transportation, we only approve transportation to and from the airport. :)

Yes, TR Diamond equates to a King player for us. Our transportation is an great looking Plaza Escalade. We also now have a shuttle for a very minimal price that runs to the airport 3 times a day. :)

How about mLife - Pearl or Gold matches with?

Curtis - really appreciate all your comments on this board - very informative!

I am coming down Dec. 29 - 30 --> if tier matching, it would only last for 2 days then? LOL!

And what about offer matching - I have many from mLife/downtown properties - any chance of matching these (I would be a new Plaza player, though).

Thanks for the info. Would not make sense to try it now then. Maybe next year. I'm sure i'll still drop in though.

So if I come in Dec 14 to have you match my mlife status it will only be good for 2 weeks? I was hoping to status match in Dec do some gambling then hopefully stay in may when we come back. But if I lose the status before then it seems pointless. I'm a gold at mlife so was looking forward to using the limo sevice.

How do you match tiers? Just show you a players card from another resort? or is there some verification system?

You just show them your competing players card. My Sapphire with Boyd was good for King at the Plaza.

Same boat that I'm in - except tier at mlife dropped last year due to lack of trips. If the Plaza tier expires on Dec. 31, 2014, then I'll have to reconsider my once in a lifetime match.

I can handle the once per lifetime but make it good for the next year not just 2 weeks.

    Maybe Curtiss will confirm this?
