This depends upon what ATM you use. If you use an in casino ATM in general you will see a fee of $5.99 per transaction, then your bank may charge you a fee for using an out of network ATM. If you use a regular bank ATM then you will see a fee ranging from $3.00 and up. Bank Of America has an ATM at: M&M World - 4th Floor, 3785 Las Vegas Blvd S, if I recall correctly the fee is like $3.99. Nevada State Bank has some of the lowest ATM fees I've seen in Vegas. They have ATM/Cash Dispensers located at the Monorail entrances and also on the strip near M&M world. Lower level of the forum shops, near the restrooms, also has a Bank Of America ATM. Chase Bank has an ATM located at the CVS, next to Monte Carlo. Keep in mind your bank may charge you an out of network fee when using any of these ATM's if you don't bank with them.
Many of the HL Room ATMs in CET casinos are no charge. I used Flamingo's a couple times last trip (bad trip obviously).
Some of the casino's are up to $6.99. I used to hit up the Band of America one at M&M world but the last 2 trips, it had been removed (as of end of July). Hopefully they put it back in now.
Personally I don't trust their website and I'm not sure it's up to date. When I asked them (M&M store in person) at the time, they said they had no plans to put it back in but maybe they changed their minds.
Last time I tried the Chase ATM at CVS near Monte Carlo it was out of order with a big sign on it. Perhaps its working again now? It's still listed on the Chase find a branch/ATM locator.
And don't forget the non-"insert your bank name here" ATM fee that your back may charge on the transaction as well. I know a couple banks hit you for $2.50 per transaction on top of what the ATM charges you. Bottom line, IMHO, if you do it, get the max out... don't go back and back and back for smaller amounts.
Last I saw, the Wells Fargo ATM at Carnaval Court was still there. It's free for Wells Fargo customers and those of a few affiliated banks. I would think that if your account is with any kind of a major bank, there is a free ATM conveniently located somewhere in the area.
I have a secondary banking account with Capital One and they reimburse me up to like $25-30 a month in ATM fees. I always leave some money in there so I can pull out cash for free where ever I'm at.
The ATM at Encore costs a whopping $35. So be forewarned. Not long ago it was around $5 or so. The procedure and process also changed immensely. Back then you get cash right out of the machine. Now the ATM prints a ticket and you have to go to the cage to get the cash.
I think you are running the card as a cash advance and not a atm withdrawal. That's why you need to go to the cage and the fee is $35 (on top of cash adv fee your bank will charge you)
