10/5 1030pm'ish arrival, heading downtown. Anyone want to share a limo?

Arriving at 10:10PM ish Sunday evening gate 1 flying Allegiant. Would love to rent a stretch limo for the ride downtown, hate to waste such a fun ride on two people. My 2nd trip to Vegas, my wife's 1st, celebrating our 25th anniversary. $108 plus $20 tip, so $65 per couple. Any takers?

 

Just my opinion, but for your wife's first trip to Vegas and celebrating 25 years of marriage, I would suggest just enjoy the ride with your wife. That memory will last forever.

I agree. Also are you doing round trip limo with ride back to the airport? If not go to Presidental Limo and you can get a one way ride for like $65 bucks.

 

Just one-way, gonna WAX it back to the airport Thursday. You're right, should be a solo trip. Stretch limo is $108, Chrysler is $45. Would rather ride a gassy donkey with sore feet than get in a Chrysler product. The stretch advertised price is $65, the real price is $108. I'd better go big or stay home, 25 years with me is worth at least a limo ride. Thanks for the input.

 

Where are you getting/seeing this $108 price for just the stretch? That doesn't seem right at all. Last March I got the Ultra Escalade 12 seater for right around $125, one way trip.

 

Dfalk, I got on the Presidential Limo website, clicked on the chat icon at the top, got in touch with someone representing the company, asked for a quote for a stretch limo, one-way, 1 hour, McCarran to Four Queens. Quote was for $108.

 

As a tourist, they seem to want to get me to commit to a roundtrip limo, so as to maximize their earning potential and minimize my scritch. I'm sure if caught the WAX to the first casino, then booked the limo, I could get the $54 rate. But that would defeat the whole purpose of pretending we're bigshots for an hour.

 

Someones lying to you then. I just called them up for the hell of it and got quoted $74 for the stretch limo 6 seater.

 

The base rate on Limos is the only advertised price. Most Limos will have a base rate for limo type (6 pack, 8 pack, or 10 pack), then there is the fee the airport charges which is $6.00. Then you (client) will pay 20% gratuity unless you specify not to include that. Then the $5.00 fuel surcharge. All internet and phone transactions will require a credit card which are normally charged 24 hours prior to service. So let's see how that adds up:

75.00 for base rate
6.00 for airport fee
5.00 fuel surcharge
15.00 for gratuity

Obviiously this doesn't add up to $108.00, but this price is what my company charges. Additionally, if you want champagne or other beverage, you can expect to pay another $10.00 to $15.00 for those items to be in your vehicle.

 

So I called directly, got a quote for stretch limo 6 seater, $64.00/hr, 6.00 airport fee, 4.00 fuel fee, so $74.00 plus tip. Booked it! Thanks all for your help.
