Does anyone have an suggestions/preferences for renting a tux in Vegas? Just wondering about fitting/cost etc.

I'm looking to rent on for the Andrea Bocelli concert in December and will be staying Center Strip.

I would get in contact with Men's Warehouse. I don't see one near you (assuming you're actually in Halifax), but you should be able to get a fitting for size at a local tux rental store and get the sizes sent there. The Men's Warehouse close to the strip (on East Twain, right off Maryland ParkWay) might be able to send it to your hotel, or better, stop in and pick it up and double-check size.

There's a place in the Flamingo shops... D'Finess that can set you up with a rental.

I'd go with http://www.alphillipsformalwear.com/. They can come to you room to fit you and have the tux to you in 2 hours. They have the location in Flamingo if you'd prefer to go that route.

Better stuff than Men's Wearhouse. I guarantee it.

Perfect timing on your part to ask this, I'll be looking at the recommendations as we are booked to see Andrea as well.

I've had to do Men's Wearhouse for a couple weddings I've been in (which drives me nuts, because I own a nice tux), and even after being measured, I've always had to go back at least once to have them fix whatever they screwed up. They're fine for something like a wedding where you need to make sure everyone's wearing the same thing, but I'd avoid them for a solo rental.

Given the responses, I guess I'm going to go with http://www.alphillipsformalwear.com/

One less craps bet for me on that day will cover the cost ($105-$125)

    :)

I fully expect you to roll craps in your tux after the show. Nothing like a well dressed shooter to start a heater.

Thanks for the down low on this, looks just like what I was looking for and inexpensive as well. As much as my disdain for MGM is I'll keep an eye out for a well dressed fellow Canadian after the show playing craps.

Hahaha, awesome, I'll definitely be shooting some dice after the concert, most likely at Pho though....I'll be the dude driving up in the DB9, drinking vodka martini's ;) actually, I may even have to play a hand or two of Baccarat!!
