What are your favorite restaurants within the MGM family of hotels? Only interested in MGM family only restaurants as my food is comped. I seem to keep going back to the same ones so would like to try a few different ones.

Here are the ones I've been to:
    • Dragon Noodle - really like this place, War Wonton is good!
    • Brand Steakhouse - the Filet is really good here, otherwise just ok
    • Diablos Cantina - this place is ok
    • D. Vino - don't care for this place
    • Double Barrel Roadhouse - like this place
    • The Pub - this place is ok
    • JeanGeorges Steakhouse - like this place
    • Blossom - like this place
    • Sirio - like this place
    • Wolfgang Puck's Bar & Grill - like this place
    • Hecho En Vegas - place is ok
    • Emeril's - didn't like
    • CIRCO - like this place
    • FIX - place is ok
    • Aureole - loved this place

    Thanks.

+1 Charlie Palmer does everything well, not just the Cut of the Week
+1 Verandah - dinner as well as breakfast

We also enjoy Wolfgang Puck's Lupo (pizza and pasta) and Akira Back's Kumi (Japanese)

    Oh my, how precious :)

When we stayed at FS at the end of July, it was still Verandah. Even though they lost the "h", I trust their food quality, presentation and service continues to be excellent.

Stack, at Mirage, is a lot like Fix except with significantly better food, drinks, and service. The sea bass with lobster risotto is one of my favorite dishes in Vegas.

Good thread. Here are my favorites, the places where I have had outstanding food and/or service:

    Aureole (Mandalay Bay)
    Burger Bar (Mandalay Bay)
    Kumi (Mandalay Bay)
    Tacos & Tequila (Luxor)
    Rubochon (MGM)
    Shibuya (MGM)
    Julian Serrano (Aria, the best!)
    550 Pizza (Aria)
    Tetsu (Aria)
    Barmasa (Aria)
    Michael Mina (Bellagio)
Noodles (Bellagio, at least for the dim sum cart)

There are other MGM resturants I like to eat at as well, but those are my top 12

Tender- been 5 times and not one bad dish
    Andres- top notch food
IL Fornaio- really enjoyed the food during our last visit
Craftsteak- thought it to be a tad better than Brand but much more expensive
Brand- been here 3 times. Nothing special but nothing bad either..

Gallaghers- disappointed during last visit. Previous couple of visits were better than good
Stripsteak- First visit had the best experience. Last visit was one of the worst
Citizens- great for when you don't know what you want to eat

One follow up thought on this restaurant. It has been a few years since I last ate there, but back then, it was a tenant, not MGM owned. I was able to bill it to my room, but I don't know if that makes it difficult to comp or may require a hard comp to take it off the room bill (I think the OP is seeking thoughts on meals he can get comped). But like I said, it was a few years ago I last ate there and maybe the restaurant is no longer a tenant. I do remember the food being very yummy. But still something for the OP to think about.

I am not sure what you mean by the "hard comp" thing??? My apologies.

I billed it to my room 10 days ago, with no problems. The resort credit was used against the charge to my room.

    That basically answers the question/concern.

A hard comp is when the hotel pays for or reimburses you for an expense that it cannot simply deduct from your bill

Mrs. Wilson & I ate at Andre's back in June. Both the food and the service was excellent.

    Gallagher's Steakhouse
    Craftsteak
    Tender
    Jean-Georges

These are in no particular order as I like them equally for different reasons.

    My favorites are in order:
craftsteak - by far and away the best sevice/food
Todd English pub - the food is good but the service and atmosphere are great
Jasmine- this place doesn't get a lot of publicity but I think it's really great
BLT burger - my favorite of all the "nice" burger joints
    Belagio
    cafe - really fancy dinner
Monte Carlo cafe - I think is the best recreation of the offshoot in the MGM family

Another vote for Julian Serrano and 550 at Aria. I go to Julian Serrano every trip now.

Also thought Yusho was excellent last trip.

Sage and Circo are my favorites within MGM. If you can swing it, Joel Robuchon is an incredible experience. I've always enjoyed Jean Georges too.

    Edited: Circo has closed.
