We did this on Tuesday. There were 9 entrants. They will just have multiple rounds until all customers have had their opportunity to compete. Then top 3 get their prizes. My wife spoke to a woman who had played it 6 days in a row, due to obtaining 500 points per day.

My wife won 2nd place. The show was dark for the rest of our time in Vegas. They gave us 2 buffet comps, big deal. They would not even include the unlimited alcoholic beverage passes. I asked why they couldn't even do that? Replace a several hundred dollar prize with 2 passes to a rather lousy buffet. They just wouldn't do it.

As more people become aware of being able to gain entry with just 500 points, you will be competing against more & more people. It definitely is not worth the 100,000 LP to do it. We did it just to burn off LP, but IMHO, it's just another lousy reward.

Yeah Zarkana being dark easily ruled it out for us. They must not publicize it well if they still only have 9 people play. Even if the show wasn't dark, it's not a good value.

How long did the whole thing last

Im still happy to do it , i have LP's to burn and it doesnt count in the 3/30 rewards

1/9 shot at getting 500$ isnt bad
If i win Zarkana tickets im not even gonna show up no interest in CDS
2 buffet would be great but im solo hopefully i will be able to use them for 2 meals

Problem is 9 total players is not guaranteed. It's the luck of the draw.

Yeah i know in the other thread on the topic i read 6 players but i guess it could be 20+ if many players reach the 500 points needed

Since it only takes place mon-thurs I think ill try my luck on a monday maybe there will be less player than on a thursday

    you play for 3 minutes

you give in your ticket, they then assign you a machine (your name will appear) and less than 5 minutes of you name being posted you hit that button for 3 minutes

(that is if you are in the first group)

I'd rather have 2 buffets than 2 tickets to Zarkana. That show was 90 minutes of my life that I'd rather have back....the buffet at the Aria is not great, but definitely more enjoyable than Zarkana.

Hmm.. I enjoyed Zarkana. I guess I'm in Vegas so often that buffets don't really appeal to me anymore. To me, buffets.. One might be better than the other but they're all quite similar in food varieties.. Whereas a Vegas show.. You can go anywhere else to see it. Even if a show isn't as great as others and leave me mildly entertained.. I'd still be happy that I went to see it and never have to wonder if I missed out on anything good.

I did the tournament on Monday (easy to redeem)

11 player in all i was in group 1 and got machine #2

Let me tell you something 3 minutes is long enough my arm was dead lol

I was #2 #3 #4 #2 and with about 30 seconds to go got #1 and i ended up winning my wave

As soon as group #2 started the woman on machine #1 was on fire and i knew she would beat me but i managed to hold on to 2nd place

Got 2 Zarkana tickets i had to choose between that night or day after at 7 or 9 pm, i was already seing Carrot Top at 8.30 on monday so i was screwed, on tuesday i had Vegastheshow at 9.00 so i got 2 tickets for the 7pm show

Great seats in section 104 row G, those were most comfortable/awesome seats i have seen in a theatre

Im not a CDS fan at all this show didnt change my mind i nodded off a a few times in the show

Sorry to hear about your experience, with that said, Aria's buffet is lousy in your opinion?!

Has anyone played in this recently? I have bought it, but not sure if I want to keep it or cash that back and get the Tender reward. What is the average amount of players over the last few weeks?

I would like to know this as well. I have it for the last day possible, Dec 29 (a monday). Does that mean anyone who qualified from fri-sun will also be playing the monday? I am hoping that since its a slow time that there won't be many there.. shrug :)
