DH and I are checking in at Bally's on Sunday!! Right now my "standard King Indigo" room is Sunday: COMP, Monday: COMP, Tuesday: $20, Wednesday: $20 for our 4 night stay.

I received an email from Bally's last night giving me the option to upgrade for a reduced rate.

    DH and I narrowed it down to either a Bally's Indigo Tower suite for $75/night = $300 or a Bally's Jubliee Suite for $150/night = $596.

Has anyone stayed in either suite and can you tell me pros & cons for either??

    THANKS!

I've stayed in both and the Jubilee suite is a little larger but bascially the same. In the Indigo tower the suites are all the way at the end of the halls so it's a really really long walk(or at least the one's we've stayed in). My preference over the years has been the south, er, Jubilee tower.

Has anyone stayed in the Jubliee suite since they've been renovated? Well, I"m assuming they were renovated with the standard rooms??

I've not stayed in the real suites at Bally's, only the "junior suites" in the Indigo Tower, which is what you would probably get upgraded to with the $20 trick on a Sunday-Thursday stay.

I love Bally's as a value proposition (i.e., $40 for 4 nights!). I would be surprised if the Jubilee Tower was worth an additional $560. But your feelings about that might depend on your overall budget for a trip. I usually budget about $2500 for a four-night trip, so putting an extra $560 of that into the hotel would cut a lot into funds for other fun.)

Like gradytripp, we never stayed in the real suites. We upgraded once the suite in the bottom picture above. It was in the South tower. My wife liked but I did not. The whole room smelled like bathtub and the separate bidet room bothered me for some reason. It was a huge room but nothing cool is in it.

Last year we got a free upgrade to a Jr. Suite in the North tower. It was pretty nice. Had a certain retro chic vibe about it that I liked a lot.

DH and I were originally going to stay at the Bellagio but then I changed my mind once I looked at the prices I could get it for (aka, "not cheap") and my sister and I stayed at Bally's last time and loved it so I thought I'd try again...I actually booked and re-booked this reservation 5 times b/c my rates kept lowering to now $40/4 nights..

and my hotel budget and gambling budget are 2 totally different pots o' money...

My DH was more excited about the possible suites than I was!!

I can tell you that I will NOT be tubbing in that tub in the middle of the room - who knows what's gone in there before me!!

We really like the aspect of more space and a 2nd sitting area besides the bed..

Last trip DH and I stayed at Paris and had a LaMans suite or something like that, and even though it wasnt updated it was nice for more room and a huge bathroom with girl space vs. boy space..

I have stayed in the suites. I know most people will say the jubilee rooms/suites are better because they have been recently renovated and everything is new. I prefer the Indigo tower rooms because overall it is much quieter back there, if you want to go to the pool you can just take the elevator straight down to the basement and not have to walk through the casino to get there. If you do stay in the Jubilee tower let them know noise is a concern because there is a night club at the Paris and the music is pretty loud.

I think that's the thing I'd be least worried about. If the tub is clean I'm getting in. It's not a surface that retains germs easily and it gets washed a lot.

    Thanks for that vid.

Nice suite and view. I've been looking at that suite for my next trip but even with a partial comp price, it's still a little more than I want to pay.

But I can tell from the welcome goodies that you weren't paying (directly).
