properties. Admittedly I have may have missed this before what exactly is considered to be part of your average bet. I understand that odds at not included but are all the other bets added to your pass line amount?

Yes, every bet on the table goes towards your avg. As you said MGM no odds. CET counts every last dollar on the table.

According to my pit bosses, CET counts odds.

CET may count odds in their rating system but the formula for comps is based on theo.
Your odds bet is likely listed and rated as odds which will not go into your theo.
Having played extensively at CET and MGM properties in Las Vegas I have received a bigger bang for my buck at MGM properties.

I think it is more that each company comps at a different %. theo is Theo. Its how much they want to give you from that earned Theo. I get bigger suites, free play money and all around more from CET than MGM for the same play. However, I personally like MGM (Aria) much better.

Not trying to highjack the thread but I have a question too regarding craps. I just tried it out a few months ago at one of my local casinos and quickly became addicted to it and plan to play for the first time when I'm in Vegas next month. Is there a minimum amount that needs to be out on the table at MLife properties in order to get rated?

From what I've been told, it varies from MGM casino to casino.

    Interesting comparison.
I stopped playing at CET properties in Las Vegas several years ago after staying at MGM Grand one time.
Paris and Caesars gave me minimal backend comps while I got a suite RFB at MGM for same play.

I wonder if they have changed the formula.

Funny.....I feel it's the opposite. I will say that mlife does have some nicer properties than CET. MGM May offer upfront FB which I have never gotten at CET other that a specific offer for resort credit. BUT my host has always taken care of all charges with backend comps, so I don't care about upfront FB. I also know that my host will take my reward credits first and comp the balance. This doesn't bother me since I'm being comped. I guess I could convert the reward credits for a minor amount of free play, but it's not enough for me to care about. The items I charge to my room at on property retail outlets is also comped, so I wouldn't use my reward credits to "shop".

CET will also do freeplay, yet another reason why I left MGM. They will not give you any freepay and if you are not a "profitable" player to the company, they will pull all of your comps, as happened with me. I go where the best offers are at this point since all the rooms are nice. I look for freeplay and extras, as a hit n run artist. I will gladly pay a couple 5k for a room and food, if I can HNR for 10-15 k. It's the comp yourself system I learned on here.

Since Packer plays at Wynn a lot, I would assume Wynn rates everything on the table.
