    Does anyone know what this thing is? It is found on almost every airplane's bathroom. I have been wondering for a long time, and grabbed a photo finally to ask :)

    Yes it does. It feels like a soap, but doesn't smell like one. And it's usually close to the ceiling, so cancels out the "soap" theory.

    My guesses; some kind of air freshener puck or smoke detector.

    It's a kitchen sink stopper. That's what it looks like to me at least.

    Grrrr, this is what happens when you have a 10+ hr flight and are bored as hell! :poke: curiosity kills the cat.

    So, air freshener theory seems to be right, I think I'll go with that one :)
