    I got lucky at the Beau over Labor Day weekend. I've hit the $25k top dollar jackpot twice on the $25 game. This was my first hit for a true jackpot! I spent more time than usual this trip playing HL slots. This was Sunday afternoon around 2pm. I had just hit a $2000 $25 pinball and the machine froze up. So impatiently, I reached in my pocket and found the last three $100 bills I had. I put them all in the nearest $25 Top Dollar. I spun 5 times and then I was down to one spin. I counted to 4 (don't ask me why) and hit spin. The first reel came up Triple Diamond, and I didn't think much of it, then the second one did and my heart jumped a bit. Earlier in the trip i had the same thing happen on a $10 Top Dollar and it turned out to be a miss. So, all i was thinking was please let something, anything come up on the third reel. Then it slammed down the last Triple Diamond symbol and i screamed!

    Congrats! $62.5k is a sweet hit especially starting with only $300 on a $25 machine!

    The 2-credit Top Dollar is my favorite machine to hit-and-run. But I play the more humble $5 or occasionally $10 ones for just a handful of spins.

    Great hit, although kickenchicken it looks like he was playing one credit for the $25,000 payout. But still nicely done.

    Never mind my eyes were deceiving me.

    Bet you are REALLY glad you were not down to one credit and only played one credit. That would really be a bummer.

    Very nice! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

    Now the practical side of me kicks in and I start thinking about taxes, tax brackets, AGI and trying to right off 62K in losses to avoid taxes. Not to even mention state taxes which will want their pound of flesh.

    Of course if you are regularly playing $50 a pull, maybe no problem writing it off.

    Based on his play he's described in the past I think it is safe to assume neither one of those things is an issue.

    Excellent hit! I would looooooove to have one hit like that. Like I have dreamed about dropping $500 in a $25 slot as soon as I walk in the door to take a shot at a big hit and essentially a trip free-roll.

    Being in Mississippi, the state takes a non refundable cut right off the top 3% I think.
