    My Trip Report

Started the day at target ( I absolutely hate spending vegas time here but I forgot my swimsuit( still haven't been to a pool yet though) and had to stock the mini fridge in the ballys room (LOVE having the fridge). But the wife insists their are clothes at this target that are not at home so I had to spend time doing that, small inconvenience I guess.

Next it's off to the sterling brunch had to stop and get her card at tr desk (been doing social rewards since last trip so $110 between the both of us is offsetting the price of the buffet). Quickly walk to Blt steak and they ask for our reservation which I did make on open table last week for 1pm, looks like last reservation is for 130 so they don't want you milling around to long after the 230 close of the brunch.

They start us with the champagne ( I'm not a huge fan and couldn't really tell the difference between this and the cheap stuff but I proceeded to add it to my orange juice anyway. I had already read up on this place so I knew exactly what I was to eat. Started with the lobster omelette which as amazing with that fancy cheese the put in it. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190507.493704.jpg . And added a lobster tail and some bacon for good measure.

Next ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190551.543892.jpg popovers came bready goodness but had to save some appetite.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190592.706714.jpg tried the lobster bisque it was ok I guess was just eating broth that tasted like rick lobster, but I had to try it.

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190645.666556.jpg filet was amazing cooked medium rare simply delicious. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190693.685248.jpg . Ordered the Caesar salad with the server also very good.
Didn't take any pictures of the desserts, baccanal buffet blows them away in this category but that isn't why I came. I couldn't get myself to try caviar, baby steps I guess. Ended the meal with a cappuccino ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190833.479258.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190841.711949.jpg ImageUploadedByTapatalk1410190848.093435.jpg

Next after being completely stuffed we gamble of course. Not wearing my lucky boxers and trying to keep superstition out of it I proceed to play super times triple play and move onto regular triple play when that fails me, end up losing about 300 bucks.

I talk the wife into heading back to rio. I dip into yesterday's money and decide I will take all my profit from yesterday (about 700) and we will hit the 8/5 machine again until we hit 2500 points. We had about 750 earned so far. With her on my card, she was short funded I had us both hit it. I thought I was really turning things around as an hour into it I was up $250 on my machine and she was about even on hers.

Things didn't stay well forever, all said it done it took us $710 to run 17,500 coin in through these machines. I'm bummed it cost that much but I was in it for the long hall. Sadly I did tap into tomorrow's money by arming the wife and myself with $100 each when we had 500 points to go. Watching the points closely when we had each built our machines back up to the 100 we put in, I cashed em out and headed to tr desk to ensure my math was correct. We overshot it by 50 or so points but she said in 24 hours the bonus should be there making me diamond for the first time!

Now the challenge will be to play back at the qtr level the rest of the trip.

Finished with another in an out burger as it was close to 10:00 and didn't feel like anything else. Messed around on some bejeweled slot machines for a bit then headed to bed.

Weather is supposed to be terrible tomorrow so we will play it by ear.

Not bad to get 2500TC on $ 8/5 BP for less than $1000.
Wife and I just did it on 50c 8/5 BP, and it cost $1400.
Sounds like Rio will be my hunting ground. : )
