Not sure if this is the correct thread for this, but i made a quick overnight trip to vegas this past weekend. I stayed at Aria, but played at PH and Cosmo, in addition to Aria.

I did not get ratings for Cosmo yet, but here are the ratings from Aria and PH.

Aria: UTH, Crazy4, FBBJ, Bac (very short session)
    Hours Played: 8.5
    Avg Bet: $248
    Theo: $1900 ($220 from slots)

    PH: Crazy4, HCF
    Hours Played: 3
    Avg Bet: $525
    Theo: ?

Bet sizes were the same between all the properties.

Crazy4 was between $75-$175 a spot, with $25-$100 on the Queens-up bonus bet.

UTH was between $50-$100 a spot, with $0-$75 on the Trips bet.

HCF was between $75-$100 (table max was $100), with $25-$50 on the 4card flush or higher bonus and $10 on the straight flush bonus.

FBBJ was two hands at $100-$400 each.

Bac was $100-$300. It was so choppy, I could not really press more than twice.

CET definite rates Carnival games much better than MLIFE. How those ratings translate to TC's, EC's, and comps, I have no idea. I did earn roughly 2500 TCs (1000 TC bonus included) from PH, while I earned 100,000-150,000 TCs at Aria. I don't remember exactly what my Mlife TCs were prior to this trip, so the range is based on vague memory.

If they rated the same, your theo at PH would have been $1255 based on the MLIFE numbers

They rated you at a combined house edge at Aria of .007969 or .79%

Not sure what you are asking but you state that the average bet remained the same yet, PH rated you at $525 avg for the while Aria only $248

Here are the house edges of common games and thus you can figure comp percentages:

BJ .28 to .78 depends on location and rules
Craps 1.36% (dont) 1.41% (do) pass/no pass only, no odds
    Crazy 4 3.42%
    UTH 2.5%
    Bac 1.06-1.24%

So based on these charts the The seems a little low if you ask me.

I believe the difference comes from the PLAY bets on UTH and Crazy4. Mlife only rates 1x PLAY bet plus the other bets on the felt (essentially 3x Ante + Trips). CET rates the max allowable betting units, so for UTH they rate 6x Ante + Trips.

Everyday it seems like MGM gets worse and worse. I think I am officially just going to an all out hit-n-run strategy at that place, the comps are getting ridiculous. I will just start comping myself,as BJ says

How do you get that without knowing the number of hands per hour they are using? The combined house edge they're using is likely higher than that. Also while different casinos might rate your bets differently (e.g. one casino doesn't include odds in craps and one does) at the end of the day I think the theo they come up with is roughly the same, and that is all that really matters.

Just called Identity to get my Cosmo rating. I played the least here, but ironically, it was the only place I won during the trip. The betting levels were the same at Cosmo as Aria and PH. Games played were, UTH and Crazy4.

    Sat:
    Hours Played: 45 min
    Avg Bet: $169.23

    Sun:
    Hours Played: 1 hour
    Avg Bet: $150

For Cosmo, it seems they are only looking at the initial betting spots (Ante, Blind, and Trips for UTH; Ante, Super Bonus, and Pair Bet for Crazy 4). I have no idea how many Identity Points I earned and have no idea what the Theo was. However, superficially, it seems Cosmo has the worst rating for Carnival games...about as bad as V/P.

Yeah, but I have no clue how many points I had prior to this quick trip.
