8/15-8/18 Venetian Mini TR

I usually fly out later and land around 8-9 pm. My friend was out there Wed. and leaves Sat. morning so I flew out earlier (arrived 4 pm). I checked in and met my friend at Drais day club. We hung out there for a little bit and met a few girls. It closed at 6:30 pm so we left around 6 pm to go eat at the Cut. Everyone really liked it.

After eating, my friends went back to their suite at MGM. I played and drank at the HL slots at Venetian and won about $600. My other 2 friends arrived later (9-10 pm). We began drinking and got dressed up to meet my friends at MGM. We were suppose to go to 1st Oak because the girls we met out there were going to go. We got all dressed up and said screw it, lets play BJ. We (5 of us) sat down at a $25 min BJ table. We start drinking a bunch of Ciroc. The pit boss cut us offer after a bit. I got a little heater and won about 2k. This is rare for me because I always get murdered on BJ. I would have had an extra 4k if I didn't loose my big bet (for me in BJ). Dealer showed a 5 or 6. I split two 8's and got two 3's. Double both and got aces on each. My bet was $500 (2k on the table). Dealer pulled a 18 or something, sick.

After drinking and playing BJ we went back to my friend's 2 BR Skyline suite (or whatever they are called). They room was really nice and spacious. We drank up there a bit.

The next day, I woke up at about 9 am and decided to play baccarat. My friend and I sat at the $25 min table since he plays quarters. I bought in for 2k, won about 1k betting ~$200 per hand. We then decided to play in the HL room ($300 min) since I wanted to touch the cards. After a few shoes, I was up ~5k.

After baccarat, we went to the Cosmo to get my 1k in promo chips at the cage. I ended up betting $500 on black and red on roulette to get my money and leave. We ate at Holsteins which had excellent burgers and shakes. We went to the Wynn Sat. night and it was dead. I thought this was little strange. Loss a few grand on HL slots.

The next day (Sunday) I got up around 7 am and made my way back to the bac table in the HL room ($200 min) and started drinking XO and Heineken. This time I limited my self by drinking slower and more coffee/tea. Of course I lose my promo chip bets ($800 total). It got up another 1-2k. I was playing roulette and baccarat at the same time in the Salon room. The first pitboss was cool, but the second one said I couldn't since he could track my play and I had to take my chips. I was mainly betting $100 on the 2:1 bet (risking $200 to cover 2 columns). I ended up winning a few hundred. Then we all ended up loosing so I went to the $500 min table. I played with this American guy and got demolished. He loss 20k in less than 10-15 hands. I ended up loosing also. Now I loss my winnings plus 5k from my pocket. I grabbed more money and went to the Palazzo. The bac tables were dead so I went back to the Venetian. It went back and fourth then one shoe went very well. It went 2 players then chopped 8-10 times. I was up after this shoe (can't really remember how much). The next few shoes killed us all. Down again. This one guy sat down and called everything. We just followed him. The last 3 bets killed me. I bet $1500, loss. Repeated twice at 2k per hand and loss on naturals 8 against 9. I ended up ~7k. If I won those 3 bets, I would have been up almost 20k.

Now it's about 7pm so we decided to chill and drink for the night. Nothing too exciting other than my friend won 30k on some stupid slot machine. He got killed for a few grand in BJ so he went to play some lion penny slot betting max credit. I didn't see it but he told me he hit some crazy bonus and ended up 30 mil credits (1 cent credits). Cashed out 30k. Lucky bastard.

I flew out this morning and got back home. I didn't go crazy on this trip. My friend who hit 30k went crazy. He slept for like 3 hours and drank and gambled the rest o the trip He was pretty messed up the entire trip. All of us ended up for the trip so it was good.

I really like the Venetian. The room at Palazzo is similar, but nicer. The casino reminded me of a cheaper, more lit up version of the Bellagio. It was really lively. The bac tables were great. The dealers and pit bosses were really nice except for 1 pit boss; she was a bitch. The layout was a little strange. There was a good amount of hot girls. Overall I really liked it. The bac tables were much better than the Cosmo.

After everything, I'm up ~7k. This felt really, really good after getting killed at the Cosmo 2 trips in a row. I even took a pic. My first pic in Vegas. I'm not a pic guy, but I had to. If I won $100, I would have taken a pic and showed everyone. It felt good winning any amount.

I'm thinking about going back for the fight. I'm hoping my friend who stays at the MGM can get tickets. He is a pretty big craps player, but we'll see. My ultimate goal is to make it out there in Oct.
