    Hey guys and gals,

I'm looking to book a room for November. Anyone care to share their host info via PM? My host is giving me the run around/upping her expectations again.

My play is typically at $300-350 avg bet / 4+ hours / 2-3 night stay.

Anyone going to be in town November 5-8? Let's have a drink or two. :drunk:

The host I've used at Cosmo has been really really bad. I get better rooms by calling the number on the offers rather than calling my host. And my host sometimes goes days without responding. F him.

I've been gambling at Cosmopolitan for over two years and did not have a host till pleepleus and I went gambling.

I usually just call the 800 number and book my stay. I really like the cosmopolitan rooms but High Limit tables are usually empty.

going in a few days so will see How I do.

I usually stay at the Cosmopolitan....they assigned a host within moments of approaching gold, it was 1:30 in the morning and I was literally sitting at their slot machine when I got an email on my phone. I assumed maybe they assigned it with the gold tier.

pphold- you mention the high limit tables are usually empty.....do you prefer when it's busy? I presume the BR can go pretty quick if you are one on one with the dealers. I'm only playing slots now, but like the empty casino floor....I get my choice of machines and dedicated drink service, not great for Cosmo, but it's part of why I like the gambling there!

I'm gold with Cosmopolitan and Diamond with CET but I think what happen was the person assigned to me is no longer there and they never reassigned me.

I was telling the Pit boss that I did not have a host and he did not believe me. He said with your LOC and average bet you should have a host. He asked the Host on duty and he checked and came back to say I didn't have anyone assigned to me.

I really didn't care since I don't get anything at the cosmopolitan but the room.

With Blackjack and Baccarat I do like more people there playing. I'm there to have fun. Drink service is never a problem in High limit room there is always a drink server there and bar tender, but I don't drink when I gamble.

I don't like to play the whole shoe a lot of times is the reason I like more people around.

I'm not a slot player. I usually only play during shuffles or when I'm waiting on another shoe.

Lol, the difference is being a HL table I think! I used to go play low limit BJ tables thinking basic strategy would be enough to play. After witnessing arguments of players with the pit boss calling their blackjack a "soft 11" and wanting to double down, splitting 20, and other crazy things, I looked for the empty tables to avoid the nut balls! I don't presume those nuts find their way to the HL rooms!

lolol that is the first time I have heard the "soft 11" thing and someone wanting to double down. I now want to experience that at a table so I can ask the person if they're insane.

I just shake my head when I see people splitting 10's. But, as crazy as it sounds, I bet that the person wanted to double down on
BlackJack because it was a 6:5 table which are popping up a lot over there, In that case doubling down wouln't be that bad of idea.
On the other hand if you are a serious player you wouldn't be playing at a 6:5 table in the first place. So, anyway you look at it, insane people gambling everywhere that really shouldn't be....the casinos favorite kind of people.

Good point on the 6/5 thing.

I have seen some people playing $50-100 per hand on six deck games playing pretty recklessly though. One guy at my local joint would not hit a 14-16 against a dealer 7+ nor would he hit a 2 or 3 vs a 12. Most of the time he was just playing the two cards dealt. Insanity. I asked him if he wanted to just slide his chips to me and get on the road home....

I have a great host at the Cosmo.
She is very responsive and transparent.
We touch base daily and she tells me my up to date theoretical, so I always know where I stand.
I can't send PM yet, since I don't have enough posts.

The host I deal with is good about replying too. She's also transparent when it comes to THEO and what she's able to do for you based on that. I know my place in terms of what I should or shouldn't get based on my play level. I appreciate the transparency.

My host at Cosmo is very quick to respond, but I also have the contact info for her whole team just in case she isn't there or don't want to bother her at 4 in the morning. They are all part of the Korean marketing team, but I guess they are not just locked up to Korean/Asian players.

I've never heard it referred to as a "soft eleven" either. But I hear that at a 6:5 BJ table, it might be better to double than take the 6:5 payout. The only time I play 6:5 is when I play with friends who want to play it, despite my interjection of how bad it is. But it's on me since I have the choice of playing or not.

The hosts at Cosmo are known for ignoring You. I don't even bother to try and contact mine anymore. She would not respond to e-mail or calls.

I have to say my host has been very responsive at the Cosmo. If she doesn't get back to me within an hour or so she will apologize when she does reply, normally within a day or two.

Piggy backing off post, can anyone also forward me host contact information at Cosmo? Played there once and received offer for 2 COMP nights, $400 FB, and $1125 promp chips. Want to contact a host to see if they can change or modify to 4 nights. Or as I've seen in previous posts, is it better to contact the number on the offer? Are they able to add on nights for me? Thanks for any inputs in advance.
