Hit my third hole in 1 in my life today. First 2 were in front of strangers, but this one was with my golfing buddies!
Was on a hole I normally struggle getting a par as it's a long (for me) par 3 that is protected by 2 bunkers on the front and a wasteland over.
Cleveland hybrid, one bounce and a straight slow motion roll into the cup.

Shot an 82 for the round.

    I hate you. ;)

Kidding of course...just jealous that I've been playing for 18 years and am still hoping for my first one. Congrats on #3, that's awesome.

I'm at zero. Did have a hole-in-par once after a water ball.

Yet a buddy of mine nailed two in his first six months of playing.

Whacky game. Guess that's why we love it so!

Last 2 yrs (up to this summer) only played 4 rounds. Had kids etc etc.
this yr have already played 12 rounds.
Last 4 scores 79, 81, 80, 87. IN that order. The more I play the more bad habits...

On the tee of the 3rd hole of the course I usually play, a 160 yard Par 3 over a tidal marsh, stands a plaque with a Maryland Terrapin tortoise, commemorating the day a golfer hit his ball into the marsh (or creek as they call them here), off the back of the Terrapin and into the hole.

I personally know 2 other golfers who also aced this hole. The first guy hit the railing on the bridge across the creek and it bounced into the hole. The other lost the flight of his ball in the early morning sun. Everyone in the foursome searched for his lost ball. He was just about to drop a ball in the drop zone when someone jokingly asked "Did you look in the cup?" And that's where they found his ball!

I air mailed an Eagle from about 180. It went straight into the hole. On the fly. Unbelievable!

That's something jarring one on the fly. Talk about EVERYTHING being just right!

    Sweet!! Good stuff, man.

I have never had one but did come about 18" from one once. I almost crapped myself when I saw it rolling and rolling and...stop. Damn!
