Only 15 days to go! Going with my boyfriend of 6 months. Will be flying out from GSP to LAS on Aug. 25th on SouthWest. Cheapest I could find them was about $343 roundtrip. Staying at Wynn for 3 nights on a comp offer with $225 free play then switching (quite a switch but free is free) to the Plaza downtown on a comp offer for 2 nights (never even stepped foot in the Plaza before). I plan on spending maybe one or two mornings enjoying the pool at Wynn even though I don't have the body of a model. I want to enjoy Encore Spa one morning or afternoon.

Shows: Absinthe, Penn & Teller, Carrot Top (possibly- just saw him in March but BF wasn't with me and he was great)

Restaurants: We plan on eating well but will likely not be hungry for 3 meals a day but they are planned just in case
    - Breakfast: Bouchon, Aria Buffet, Wynn Buffet, Peppermill, HHAGG
    - Lunch: Zoozacrackers, Earl of Sandwich, Holsteins, Triple George Grill, Grand Lux
    - Dinner: SW Steak, FIX, Tender, Hugo's Cellar, Bacchanal Buffet
    - Snacks: Serendipity, Nacho Daddy, Sprinkles

This will be my 3rd trip and I think this will be the best one yet.

    Sounds like a nice plan!

I am also staying at The Wynn on a similar deal. I played there once several years ago and all of a sudden received the offer several weeks ago. Have you stayed and played there before?

I played there 2 years ago on my first trip to Vegas and started getting the deals sent after that. Didn't jump on them until March and stayed there with the same offer. Figured after I used that offer that I wouldn't receive them anymore but I got another shortly after I returned and wasn't going to let it go to waste. I love Wynn!

How do you get a comp from them if you have never been in the casino?

I got a comp with them a couple of times from their mail offers because I have a player's card. Sometimes they give these comps through the mail to get you to come to their place. This was a while ago, but I assume they had my address from the days when Wynn owned
Mirage. I'm sure the Wynn company kept all their clientele list after they sold to MGM.

I figured to have a players card you would need to step into the casino since the plaza is on its own system.

I guess I got a card from the other hotel that is associated with the Plaza.

There are few things I enjoy more than breakfast at Bouchon.

We are heading out a few weeks after you and have plans to check out the new places.
The Linq has a number of new stores.
Monte Carlo and NYNY have a few new places too.
Also nice to take a break from gambling to see whats new.
We have reservations at Giada's for lunch which is getting outstanding reviews.
If you are interested in going I suggest calling now for reservations.

I'd drop Bacchanal or Tender and hit Charlie Palmers for the $48 prix fixe including wine and too much food to eat.

Sounds awesome! I didn't care fore Penn & Teller all that much though. If you go make sure you get good seats. That may have been why I didn't enjoy it (didn't understand some of the tricks).

Love Bouchon!! Aria Buffet is great too... get the scrambled eggs. I don't know why, but they are the best thing ever. If you skip a meal, skip lunch... just have a nice "brunch" that's kinda what we usually do. Grand Lux is also a good breakfast option. We ended up there once because Bouchon was closed and we were pleased with our meal, we actually went back.

At Sprinkles get a cupcake sundae mmmm.... I had a red velvet cupcake sundae with red velvet ice cream, best thing ever.

    Good for you !

    From my experience ---
I would switch your stay around the other way.
You really want to stay at The Plaza - FIRST.......
    then move up to Wynn.
    Trust Me !
