Can my wife and I buy free play for our own accounts as long as both of our name are on the room account?
Also if we are staying 5 nights can we get a two rewards of different denomination?

Yes and Yes. Just make sure both of your names are listed on the account.

I'm confused. How do you buy free play? I always thought free play was given to you buy the casino to try and entice you to play more and spend more. At least that's how I have always gotten mine. Is there something I don't know about buying it?

This was posted in the MyVegas forum. You can buy FreePlay rewards through MyVegas for the hotel of which you are a guest. It can be added to the FreePlay from casino marketing as well.

Just a heads up, I was unable to use the Freeplay reward during my last trip because I booked through Hotwire instead of directly with the hotel. They did not disclose this rule anywhere in their fine print.

This was asked in a Q&A session in the MyVegasFriends group tonight. Yes, both occupants of the room can buy/use the FreePlay reward. You just need to have both names listed on the room at check-in.
