Tips for NYNY self-parking

We're going to book two nights at NYNY and plan to have a rental car those days. Any advice for the parking garage?
(Recently we went to Mirage and I noticed by parking on the 4th floor we could easily get to the bridge to the lobby.)

 

I think the third floor has the walkway to the casino.
I find it easier to get in and out using Tropicana the strip exit is a real pain in the ass.

My biggest tip for self-parking is don't. Always valet.

 

I love the NYNY parking, the entrance road off tropicana makes it super easy as Iamrice stated. I thought the cross-over was on the 2nd floor, but it could easily be the 3rd floor. I've parked there numerous times and never gotten a spot where I had to walk more than 100 feet to get to the bridge. In my opinion, it beats the pants off parking at MGM or Excalibur, and lately even the tropicana. One of my favorite garages!

What is this? Designated spaces for Platinum members? How do they know/how does it work?

 

yup they took all the best self parking now for platnium members its right by the walkway to the casino in the self parking lot.big signs say reserved for platium players , they did it a few moths ago. i alaways get a sopt now, i think becuase ny ny is the locals casino , just like rio is is for cet same thing

 

Even though I'm certainly not platinum there, I can appreciate them reserving spots for their platinum players like that. Sounds like a perk that is worthwhile! I think the Gold Coast does the same thing with their emerald players as well.

One of the more...odd entrances into a parking garage. Coming from I-15 on tropicana, just stay to the left and look for the very small sign and turn in lane. It looks like you're going into on-coming traffic.

 

Does someone check that you're platinum?

 

at the palms u get a thing to hang from your car same with rio dont know how they do ny ny

 

Last stay at the Luxor they gave me a MLife VIP parking pass good for Luxor or Excalibur when we were there dated for when our Platinum expires. I would imagine they do it at all the casinos.
