I knew Westgate bought out LVH, but didn't expect the name change so quickly. It has been changed on pretty much all the OTA's, but still has the same web address (thelvh.com) with a new redesigned page. I think the rates have gone up drastically too. At least I don't remember them being so high during the week. Westgate's main website is still not listing it though. Still the awful $18+ resort fee (doesn't even include a bottle of water) too. Will be interesting to see what happens to this property. It will take a LOT of money and time to bring the quality of the rooms up.

A bit of information I found on their website that I had never heard before, and have no idea if true or not is: "Las Vegas NV hotel policy allows a maximum of four guests per room".

When I google "4 guests per room" many LV hotels show up stating this policy on google. It may not be a Las Vegas regulation, but it's definitely a Las Vegas standard.

They must not want to waste a buck at Westgate...I just got a LVH mailer yesterday (rather than it being a Westgate mailer)...

I still get the LVH offers, but the inside is now changed a bit. The logo is all Westgate now. They moved the giftshop to the middle of the lobby, took out the slots area that used to be the Spacequest bar, etc and they all have Westgate greeters in the lobby and the players club is still LVH. But not worth the resort fee per day and the wifi never worked.. and the credit card i booked my room on that they did not ask for at check in and i didn't have that card in vegas anyways, was charged 300 bucks, so they had to go hunt in my "profile"" and charged the damn card. it was all paid off in cash, and no one ever asked did i want to put it on a credit card before i produced the cash, very shady, then had random 2 dollar charges from them too

I'm booked for mid Sept weekend with old LVH player rates. The LVH and Hilton before it served me well with weekend prices compared to other casinos. Hope that doesn't change.

That's a pretty good offer with only $8300 coin in. What was the pay schedule of the DDB progressive you were playing?

I honestly don't remember. I just saw that the progressive was over $6600 and decided to play. I'm pretty sure it was bad, though.

I just got an offer from them. Worked out to $89 a night, with a 2/1 buffet thrown in, for weekdays in a standard room. Add to that the ridiculous resort fee, and it makes me think they are on crack.

I think i got a mailer for next year with like 20-30 dollar per night room rates, but with the resort fee being over 20 bucks now, i may just bite the bullet and go else where
