I looked at my hotel offers from the Total Rewards website for free nights to every vegas CET casino, then I asked a few questions on how it works, and now I need to decide which hotel is best to use my free nights at. I will be there with my mom and we will have 2 double beds. I would like a hotel with bed comfort, good working AC, good customer service, etc. I am leading towards Caesars Palace because it is the most expensive when there is no offer and I am surprised I have free nights for this location. I played on the strip at 2 CET casinos on one night memorial weekend and got these good offers. I also want to see Celine Dion in concert. She is one of my favorite singers, amazing voice. I love her music.

My offer: Enjoy 3 free nts @Caesars, Planet Hollywood or Paris OR 4 free nts @Rio, Harrah's, Flamingo, Bally's or The Quad! . I want to do 2 nights, thursday and friday night August 7th and 8th and then come back on the Saturday when there is not much traffic. How good are the rooms at all these casinos including Caesars that I am interested in? The only hotel I know that is bad is the Quad.

I also have free play offers too, but I am hoping I can just get the print out coupon for the $100 free play when I check-in to the hotel. What it says online on TR website is confusing and had to find out on other posts to make sure this is how I get the free play coupon print out because I get nothing in the mail.

Caesars is nice, but huge, so if walking is a problem for your mom, that might be a concern. The basic rooms in the Roman tower are awful, forum tower rooms are decent, and Augustus or Octavious are very nice. Good casino atmosphere, but again, very huge!!! Great pools if you swim.
It would be nice since you are going to a show there though. Upgrades are fairly easy for asking, and sounds like your play would warrant Augustus?
If you can only get the Roman tower, I would head twards Bally's Jubilee rooms or Planet Hollywood? Just my opinion on that though and an easy walk to Caesars.

If you are platinum, you might try contacting Hunter on this site, the CET host where he answers questions, he might be able to secure you a good room at Caesars.

I am just a regular total rewards card member. My first time playing at a CET and only night playing uptown was friday night memorial weekend at Quad and Flamingo. and yes walking will be a little bit of an issue for my mom. I have been to Caesars before and it is huge.

What do you think of Flamingo? I have never been to bally's or planet hollywood before, so I have no idea how their casinos are either. I am familiar with Flamingo's casino and I think their hotel is not that far from the casino correct? How about Harrahs? I am deciding now between Flamingo or Harrahs. Bally's seems like bit of a walk too when I saw it while waiting for the bus back to my off strip casino and also under construction. Flamingo and Harrah's is right off las vegas blvd. I want to stay close to Caesars, Flamingo, Harrahs, and Quad. Those casinos are not too far to walk for casino hopping and there are little casinos in-between too like Casino Royal.

Obviously Caesar's (not the Roman Tower though), and then i would choose Paris, less walking, and casino's nearby. PH is more geared to young adults.
But if you need to be close to the Linq, it's tough because Caesar's might be too big for walking, Flamingo has a pool vibe geared towards 20 somethings, the Quad won't have new rooms till the fall, which leaves Harrah's which i haven't stayed at since it had a Steamboat.
If you don't plan on spending time at the pool, i'd choose Flamingo and upgrade to the GO rooms.
This way you can casino hop to the Cromwell, the Linq Hotel (that will be the new name come Fall), the Linq property, Harrah's, Casino Royale, Mirage, Venitian.

Completely agree with Paris, though with a strip view, the night club is VERY loud and was rattling my windows, on the 21st floor, through the wee hours of the morning. Other than Caesars, Paris is the only place I'd stay from a CET perspective until the Quad rooms are redone.

Has anyone stayed at harrahs before? And how are the rooms at flamingo? I don't want to be too far from the Venetian, I love that casino.

One of you said Caesars is a lot of walking, so I rather not stay there to make it easier for my mom.

If I could get the Red room at Paris...I might try it. Their standard rooms seem to score low in reviews.

If the pool is of interest, then Flamingo hands down!

We prefer Paris or Bally's as our "home". Since you are going during a very hot temp time....there might be a better chance for an upgrade on your room no matter where you stay. Flamingo's Go rooms might work nicely with easier access to Venetian. Good luck & have fun!

A pool to me is just a pool. I don't care if it's small or big.

Are the regular rooms at flamingo good? And how are the beds for those who stayed there? I am deciding between there or harrahs where hotel is not a long walk to casino and Las Vegas blvd.
