I have not stayed Cosmo in over 15 months.
For a while I would get several offers a month but they dried up to every couple months.

Today I get 3 purple envelopes in the mail.
There were two separate invites to the "To Be a Millionaire" slot series.
There was a third one for a 75K Baccarat tourney.

Just wondering if this is a new effort to attract more casino players.

The first slot tournament is somewhat short dated(mid July) so I am probably a B or C list mailer but I'm wondering how many others got the same mailers.

I got the slot and baccarat tourney. I am going to both also.

My first time playing at the Cosmo was 2 trips ago (2-3 months).

I guess I better see what the mailman brings........

But honestly, since they card matched me to Plat., I haven't rec'd anything different.
Still being treated like Silver or less. 2 nites monthly and low FP.
Tourney offers have become rare, and Cruise offer of a year ago? Sailed away.
Either nobody is paying attention to Plat level? Or they don't care. Or hoping we don't want to use them?
I've kind of written off staying there anymore until the dust clears and offers for regular players are given creedance again.
    IF they ever do..........

card matching was quite useless when I got mine. if the play is enough to do plat, I think cosmo is the most generous of the on strip properties.

I think there must have been some sort of glitch in their marketing system. I received five mailers from them today. The same three the OP received plus two others

Friends of our are always getting offers for very, very little play. They usually put around $200 in the slots, which turns into, likely $1000 coin in but two free nights and $100 in freeplay for that type of action isn't bad.

Nothing from Cosmo for me other than almost a month ago I get the purple envelope offering 2 free nights which was the same as the same email I received a few days before. Though last week I did get an email offer for complimentary tickets to the World Cup final viewing party at The Chelsea. That's all I've heard from them lately.

Cosmo's defunct but long-running $100 freeplay offer, along with that series of quickie slot tourneys, shows that it will cast the net at times. Those of us who are undeserving of such things as free play, and especially free rooms, would do well to cash in and not think about it too much.

Same here, and it's killing me. We have an upcoming trip booked for just after Labor Day Weekend, and I'm REALLY hoping for a comp offer (had one for June July for 2 nights free, so it seems plausible we could get another). Every day I check my e-mail hoping, but nothing so far. I got that World Cup one too, saw that it was from Cosmo and got all excited, only to realize it wasn't a room offer.

My current 2 night offer spans from June 5 to Oct 8 but I won't be able to use it. There doesn't seem to be consistency on how long an offer is good for. The offer I stayed on in May was valid from May 8 to June 4. On June 3 I received my current offer. So you may not see another offer until a few days before the current one expires.

I received my last offer 27th May which says

    'Valid June 19, 2014 - August 13, 2014.'

I was hoping to get one a bit earlier but suppose I can wait. At least it should cover the October/November trip I want.

I do agree that some of the offers from Cosmo seem to have no rhyme or reason or consistency. Stayed there in February, and back in March received an offer for comp rooms through July. A few weeks later received the same offer for a room through through Oct. 1. Except for email offers for shows and the World Cup viewing, I haven't heard from them. Would like to stay there on an upcoming trip in October, but don't know if I'll receive a comp offer.

Stayed there in April on a two day and "free play" offer; and , came back to a three day and "free play" offer so I booked for July. I haven't received anything in the mail. It's all been via email. I do believe this will probably be the last offer they send me after they see the type of play I give them. I didn't give them much play at all in April and I don't see July being much different.
