Wife and I are planning on throwing some play to The D on our next trip...how are the comps?
I figure we'll be playing 4 hours per day at UTH with a $60 average...

That play will usually get you free rooms and maybe 20-30 a month in free food or play. Hit me up and I will send you my hosts info

    Yes, good comps

Yes, I have found the D to be pretty generous (but not overly so) with comps. You will usually get some free play -- the food voucher tends to be very good. Note that they will then send you a mailer for a very long time after you have played there.

I ran through maybe $100 in slots in February and signed up for Club D, they sent me 3 free nights, and $35 freeplay. Then another mailer with more freeplay and BOGO rooms and other discounts.

Not sure I'd wanna stay there, but I thought that was pretty cool!

Is there an email address that I can write to? I want to see if they can do any better than the 4Queens. I tried [email protected], but got kicked back.

I no longer have the number... but I called the hotel operator and asked for the host's email address... and they were very responsive and yes... The D is the best downtown for comps.

Thanks Gramma not sure what they'll give me since I didn't play a lot there. But I did win almost $800 so hopefully that helps.

I play very little and only on the Vue bar 8/5 VP, but I get a two for one each month and it is without resort fees. I think that is very generous at the very low end of the low roller graph. I liked the rooms. Also, check in came with food coupons. The 2 for 1 rooms (weekday) added to the 3 free weekend nights at the Four Queens give me a week for practically nothing. And moving between the two places using the back door is a breeze.

I played about $4k through the NSUD machine last trip. The result was an offer for 3 free nights, $50 freeplay, $25 match play and $25 food. Pretty solid offer for one day. That offer so far has been good month after month. I will be in Vegas end of June through mid July so double the freeplay, etc. Only staying with them the first three nights though.

I am already booked at 2 other hotels for my 6 night trip in August (comped 4 nights at Stratosphere and 2 nights at NYNY from MyVegas. But I got an offer the other day from The D for 3 free nights (2 minumum) for each of August and September. There's also $50 in F&B and $100 in slot play plus $100 in match play and 2 for 1 Frankie Scinta tickets. I'm thinking of double booking to take advantage of the free play and F&B as we're planning an evening downtown anyway and having a possible place to crash seems like a good idea. If we stay the one night, great, if not, we can just put a DND sign on the door, not charge anything to the room and either just not check out or come back on the morning of the 2nd day to check out. What do you think?

Do they charge resort fee on comped offers like this?

I got a mailer like that, but you can just go and the freeplay is loaded on your card already, you don't need to stay there. My last trip I had like $40 freeplay and I just went and played. The F&B you just pick it up at Club D.

Unless you got something different! But it doesn't say anywhere I have to stay to take advantage of the freeplay or F&B.

Thanks! Mine doesn't say anything like that either so I think I should be fine. The mailer says exactly what you said...pick up the F&B at Club D and the freeplay says it will be automatically loaded to my account. Woot!

I am actually hoping for a double hit in FP. My mailer says that I get $50 in FP for the periods Aug 1-31 and Sept. 1-30. I am arriving Labor Day weekend on Sunday Aug 31, and leaving Sept 4. I am staying on a comp at Fremont, but I should be able to get $100 in FP if the mailer is correct.

In March, I had $75 on my card waiting for me. I've yet to stay at the D, but I do like to play there.

I was getting $400 in match play and $800 in food vouchers each month and up to 10 days in comp rooms plus show tickets but I don't stay downtown. I was playing there once and Casino HOST showed up right when I was losing and asked if there is anything he can do and Told him YEA Please LEAVE.

Then I colored up my chips and left.

I used the match play and the food at Andiamo Steakhouse is pretty good I couldn't use all the comp food vouchers. They are pretty good in the give you them $50 vouchers. Just hard for me eat that much so I had to bring people and just told them to call me when the bill arrives.

There is a elevated area that is good for Baccarat and Black Jack. Dealer's are very nice. And it's like a party pit at night when they have the girl dealers dance.

I was there. An hour. 400 average. I only played Once The other three times. I just played the match and the free slot play And ate and left.

Ive Had the offer for 4 months in a row . Think they were trying to get me to stay there and play . But I have a big CL might be the real reason.
The offer desk person Said. She does not see too many people with my type of offers.

Oh and $ 400. A month in free slot play.

Did not work in VP. OR big progressive JP

The place is ok. DEALERS are very friendly. Just not my type of place.
