The "draw" for bottle service is you get a dedicated seating area. We had a table, and while we were there some idiot kept putting his drink on our table while he was dancing (BTW don't do that). We had the server clear his drink when she came by. He wasn't familiar with the process and then had a seat at one of the stools in our little section. My husband had to pull him aside and tell him "we paid for this area, not for you to have a seat without an invitation." He was obviously new at Vegas clubbing etiquette and drunkenly moved on. So, $100 spent one way or the other...I'd go for the table. The wristbands are for well drinks (cheap alcohol) and the bartenders are slow to serve and reported to be somewhat surly there. We never experienced that at our bottle service table and we were drinking top shelf alcohol. If you are going to Gold at all...I'd advise you keep the table reservation and enjoy it, maybe make friends with some (normal) ladies who are also going to a club afterward. And, slide in with their party to even out your girl/guy ratio when getting in line at another club. Two guys in line at Drai's are going to be waiting for awhile to get in. Just sayin...

Really? Shoot. I was hoping that 2 guys would be ok.

I'd love to hear what others think about 2 guys trying to get into Drai's nightclub via general admission.

    General Admission???? Hell no.

    2 options:

Contact Limo Driver and see what he can do to help you bypass the line at a lower cost or pay for pre sale tix. My question though is based on the website General admission and pre sale tix may be the same line since they are charging $100/per to bypass the line?

You may look like JT and Thor but you're still 2 swinging dix trying to get into a club.

Do the bottle service--I don't think you will regret it. You will get good liquor & good service & LOTS of drinks for $100 tip. You will never have bottle service for that price anywhere. LAX is more of a club, tho lower tier, while Gold is more of a lounge but does have a DJ & dancing. Closes at midnight except F-SAT.
Did a club crawl (bus tour) last year & we 4 girls (3 married) kind of hung out with a bachelor party of guys from the club crawl--we all hung out, all danced. Mostly bought our own drinks, though I think occasionally the guys would buy a round, and not think much about it. Most of the guys were married, too, (yep, we were sharing kid pics at 4AM outside of Pure...lol), and it was clear we just wanted to hang out.
You may find some fun girls to share a drink with, converse, dance a bit with--if they seem overbearing, have security move them along.
My BFF & I will be doing a bus tour again this year, and are choosing GOLD bottle service for the other weekend night. We don't figure we can (or should!) drink a whole bottle ourselves, so hope to share a few drinks!

The opposite happens to me. I'm a girl (lol) and my friend and I got invited by some guys to their table. We never asked or went looking. I think if you just focus on the guys at your table and make convo with them nobody should be leaning over the table saying "can I join."? If they do..I would just say something like "it's guys night, sorry" lol!

Sometimes i just laugh. I have helped numerous people get entry and tables on here and i dont ask for anything over and beyond to get people in than the club or my connections charge. I have asked people that if cover is $20 or more per head and i get in with no cover and minimal wait time , to just by me a drink.90% of the time the clubs will just let me walk people in. To be honest i do it as a favor to VMB members and hope that they will later on call me to do more stuff like book limos, rooms, nightclubs and other stuff.I will be honest i cant do it at all clubs every night. Some nights they are busy with big talent, but i will say this to every member on here. you tell me a club and a night and how many girl and guys in the group, pretty good chance i can get you in for free or for less that advertised cover.

When we take care of large groups of guys or business people i always find groups of ladies to come join. i have had 2 guys with 10 bottles and i could bring in over 100 ladies with no issues. Attractive ladies should not have issues finding a table to hang out at, but when ladies go to mooch alcohol it becomes an issue. People here call them bottle rats.

My BIL just shared a story of some friends in Vegas with bottle service...legitimate concern. 3 or 4 guys, birthday celebration, drinks flowed. Lots of ladies came & went...the next morning one guy pulls the tab from his pocket--THOUSANDS of $ worth....calls club, resort, CC company. Basically, drunk or not, you signed it, you are liable. Reflecting on it, they felt the ladies were sent to the table of drunk guys to run the tab up (several bottles)
    SO worth being aware of!

There are reasons i do what i do and its basically to babysit people when alcohol is involved. There are secrets to not getting overcharged but some of that involves having one sober or semisober person. When you deal directly with a club host they are there to make money (aka move bottles). if you have a 3 bottle/1500 minimum and they can get 3 more bottles in your group plus redbull and other mixers, its just more more for them, your server and so. People all the time try and dispute charges but thats why the clubs do what they do and how they do it. The funny thing is when people dispute the charge saying they didnt get the bottle. Every bottle is accounted for by 3 or more people so once the bottle is pulled from cabinet they know where its going and most places its paid for before it leaves the locker.

I actually meant "Gold" in the above post with the question of them being open until 4:00am on a Thursday.

Based on your report I am less bumbed out with the MyVegas Reward for Gold.

I think we will still do the 9:00pm reservation and then head to Drais nightclub by the pool after - as it appears getting in and wait lines won't be killer for that.

We will have a nice pre-game at Gold with a bottle to share between my brother and I, and be able to go to Drais and have a drink or 2 each...without breaking the bank.

As for Gold, it only opens at 9:00pm...so I think we won't necessarily feel like we have to be there exactly at 9:00pm. Furthermore, the players desk suggested we arrive at the player club to get our reward at 8:00pm...I think that is way to far in advance.

So we will go out, have our supper, hit a table or 2 in the casino, make our way to Gold, enjoy the bottle service - whether there are a few or many people there - and then head to Drias pool night club.

    That sounds real reasonable!

We are eyeing up the Drais Yacht Club - which appears to be their Tuesday evening night swim. We are looking at Tuesday July 22. There are going to be 2 guys (me and my brother) and general admission is $40 per person...after fees $93.20.

I haven't heard much about this yet...as it is fairly new.

But I was wondering what type of arrangement we might be able to come up with using your service?

    Thanks.
