Wow! I received an email offer from Suncoast today and I wish i had a way to reply and say shove it up your ass.:poke:

$41.99 per night and a whopping $10 per day food credit. Some of the Fri & Sat rates in June, go up to $199 per night.

I guess they really want me back.:evillaugh

After you spent how many days there? And being a $1 VP player? That is a surprise. Barely sneezing in the Orleans gets you 4 nights. Boyd is very inconsistent from prop to prop.

Wow Joe, we're almost in the same Suncoast league now! We have the same "Summer Vegas Fun" offer, and our latest "regular" offer is $49 weekdays with a $15 food credit. Our next trip marks the end of our 30-something consecutive staying there streak!

That's too bad... at least you're back where you're appreciated and valued now.

Naaaaah – if that were true, they'd send a limo and give us a suite!

Hey! That's a pretty good offer. It's only $6 more than their "anyone can book it" on-line price!

    :evillaugh

I don't think any of us will ever figure out how they come up with (or don't) these offers.

I did write a email to the GM of MSS stating that maybe it was good for us to stay at another property, just so we could appreciate how well we have been treated at MSS over the years. I told him we were coming "home".

I also wrote an email to the GM at Suncoast mentioning some of the issues we had and never received a reply. Very poor.

Lets face it, it is all about gambling and losses, but MSS has treated us well over the last ~14 years. There was a thread about lying and I'm not kidding anyone, we have lost more than we have won in Vegas, but it's our discretionary income and we enjoy Vegas. It's no secret we enjoy staying at MSS.

Of course ego is involved, but it is a nice feeling to walk up to the front desk and before you even take out your ID they greet you with "Joe, you're back". Same at the Players Club, severs in the 777 and of course the bartenders at Boar's Head. It is the place we feel most comfortable, welcomed and relaxed.

Good grief Joe, that's just ridiculous! And insulting! I'm really beginning to think they just want to be a locals only casino. They've gone out of their way to discourage most of us.

I just checked my offers for July and August and I'm still getting free nights - but only 2 nights and $10 food x 2. That's after running through 41,000 points in April. We did lose a bit there though so maybe that's why we're still getting rooms.

Life's too short to go where you're not appreciated. Since we're still getting offers, we may go back some day but the negatives are really starting to outweigh the positives. And I hate the fact that their offers are so random. If we have offers like yours to look forward too, we might as well quit while we're ahead.

More randomness...I just checked my husband's offers.

    - 1 night free, additional night $39.99 (valid any day of the week), $15 food credit

And he only put 6,300 points on his card last trip.

What the heck Joe?! You are really getting screwed!!

It is too bad. When we lived in Vegas, Suncoast & MSS were our favorite places to visit.

One other point. The GM at Suncoast didn't even have the courtesy to reply to my email about the issues we had during our stay.

We ran through 4,000 points on my wife's card at Suncoast last trip on the 5x point coupon. We are getting two nights comped on our next stay with no food. Based on the exact same level of play, she is offered 3 nights, $50 FP, $25 MP and $25 food at the D.

My offer for MSS was 4 nights and $50 FP. No mention of food but a quick call to my host got the silver card. I still love main street but we had to branch out because we are staying 13 nights on our upcoming trip. Also got 3 nights with $200 FP and all food except Hugo's at 4Q for less play than we typically give MSS.

By the way, we play NSUD at all of the properties mentioned except 4Q where we play the 10/7 DB progressives above at the .25 level.

I had a similar experience at Main Street Station in February. I averaged $15,000 coin-in per night on a 2 night trip (compared to my previous 6 or so nights on past trips averaged around $7000). My offers for April and May came in at 20% off and $10 in food credit (instead of my usual 2 free nights). I thought for sure this was because they didn't like winners, since I had hit 3 Royals! My July offers have since come in for 3 free nights. Your offers may improve in a couple of months, and your current offers may not reflect your recent stay.

Also, I stayed at Suncoast in February for one night (on the free 1 night, 2nd night $39 offer), and played about $8000 coin in. I am currently getting 2 free nights each month with $25 food credit per day. My only other play there was a very short visit in September that I played $100 in Boner Deluxe, that generated the 1 free night offer.

I would bet in 3 months you'll be seeing some more serious offers.

I was just about the post the same thing. It seems to take a couple months or more for play to be reflected in the offers. Keep us posted Joe.

Probably doesn't matter. The way the host mislead us, I don't think I would ever go back.

Much nicer rooms than even a suite at MSS, but unless we wanted to golf at Angel Park again, I'm not going to sweat the details worrying about how much I'm going to have to pay for food charged to the room. We're spoiled with our Boyd Gold Card downtown. Everything free.

And face it, how much time do you spend in the room. For us, not much.

I will keep you posted if the offers improve. $12,000 avg coin-in daily, I would sure think they should.

Yes that would be a deal breaker right there. I could see a general email clerk not responding but when the GM doesn't respond, you have to wonder about the way they operate.
