    For CET TR,

If I have 22120 TR credits, does that mean I have $221.20 in food credits to use at CET places?

I know TR credits cannot be used for tips..

But do I really have $221 for food use, like at AMG Paris?

Correct, each reward credit equals one cent.

So Simple of a question, and thank you.. :nworthy:

    But it is not over...

    What about AMG?

    -----------------------------------------------------

Some people post you can use TR credits at AMG...

Others say you need to get a voucher at the TR Desk for the "AMOUNT"
    YOU THINK, you need.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

I really need to know. Which way is it for AMG?

You can't use TR credits directly at MAG but you can either charge to your room if you're staying there, get a voucher in advance of your meal (any unused credit will be returned to your account) or you can go to TR desk after you have finished your meal (assuming you will not be dining alone and someone will remain at the table) and get a voucher for the exact amount of your meal, return with voucher and pay your bill.

If you charge it to your room you get taxed on it...if you use your points straight up, no tax.

I had that many rewards credits after the Escape to Total Rewards contest a few years ago!

Yes...spend it on something fun; food, a show, drinks at the pool...ect.

FYI, this is property dependent. The Quad always charges tax, iirc. Bally's doesn't. Not sure on all other properties.

I've yet to figure out the tax issue. At Spice Market they do not charge tax if you pay with points but at Earl of Sandwich they charge you for the tax. Once at Hash House I was charged tax all the other times no tax. Go figure.
