I'm in. Thanks for pushing it back one hour, it'll be nice to have nearly four hours after landing to get there and checked in and grab a bite.

Boar's Head question: I have not been to MSS (or Vegas) for two years and they took down the $1.75 micros advertisement from the website (or moved it somewhere I cannot find), what do those run now when you are not getting comped? I can't imagine it would be more than the $3.25 Triple7 price. Also, did they ever put their rotating IPAs out on the floor, or is it still just the main four beers available?

Oops, found the $1.75 advertisement just now...should have tried those arrows first. Second question still stands.

No, just the same 4 beers on tap at Boar's. However, good tipping and the bar-back might be willing to run over to 777 for a pitcher of another.

He does it for my wife for her weise beer. Robert-great guy!!

If you're tipping and ask nicely I've gotten the "seasonal" pour before...
We can push it back to 3pm if it'd help?

Very kind of you to offer, but I think I would still have easily made 1pm. 2pm just means I won't have to run. ;)

Also good info on the beer...I will definitely have time to grab the brewmaster specials from 777 sometime else in the trip and Marker Pale is great for sessioning, but you never know when the taste for something different will strike.

I plan on making it down for the meet and greet. The only problem is the DW and MIL, BIL, SIL, FIL are all gonna be on the trip with me. I know that they want to go downtown on Sat but that might be a little early for all of them. TIMSPEED... i will shoot you a PM with my cell and you could text me day of.

    Will do.
I think progrocker and I are both staying at MSS, so we'll be around...

I'm staying at The D, so it will be quite the commute, but Marker Pale Ale and $2 scratch cards are worth the long trek.

Are the scratch cards what you win with a bartop 4OAK?

Yup. Not just the bar tops either, but most VP machines on the floor too.
Most scratch cards will net you $2, but there's a chance of scratching $5,000.

LOL, a $5 scratcher would be HUGE!
FWIW: If you play 5c or 10c the scratchers will all be $1
    25c, 50c, and $ are all $2 (with the occasional $5 one)

Also I believe that at the quarters level those 2 dollar scratchers actually turn the full pay JoB into a positive expectation game (with bconnected included).... I just don't know any VP advantage players that play at that level. But it's nice for us casuals, helps with tipping the bartenders and CWs at the very least.

It makes 25c JoB 99.8%...add in BConnected and it becomes a little positive.

Planning to join, but will probably not make it at 2pm. Any idea for how long you will be there?
And are there plans for dinner as well? If so, then I would like to join that too.

    Thanks TIMSPEED for organising!!

    Cheers!

About 5-7 years ago, my wife did a $100 scratch card, but mostly they are $2.
